Well, originally it was just a sign of joy because of Lief candidacy.

Can I or, more, should I, as Midwestern, have anything to say about candidacies in Northeast? Or should, let say, Southeastern, have anything to say regarding Mideast candidacies?

No, but we can list him as a declared candidate until he gets his endorsements.  But yes, unless Bacon King withdraws his contention for secretary, he can't nominate Fritz.
