McDowell County, WV. Even though both are hellholes. I'm surprised at the very rapid population decline in McDowell County. It now has more than 4 times less people than it did when its population was at its peak.

Except you wouldn't be living across the river in Windsor looking at downtown at night, and the second picture you showed, if that is from McDowell County, doesn't really have much to do with living in the place. There are people like that in most parts of the country. Although I'd rather have to see those people than get shot or have my daughter raped.

I don't know how many people here have actually been to McDowell County, but I have, and it's beautiful. The picture I posted is of McDowell County. I'd much rather get a house in the mountains there than live in Detroit, which I've also been to. The people are outrageously nice in Southern WV too.
