Ladies and Gentlemen of the Atlasia, I am hear tonight to announce my candidacy for the the 2B Senate seat in the recall of Sen. Migrendal. The forum is moving along with newly elected President-elect PBrunsel, and I hope to work closely with his admin. if elected. I am humble to accept both the endorsements of the UAC and the AFRNC, and I gladly accept.  However, effective tommorrow at 10pm, I hereby resign as the Associate Justice of the Atlas Forum Supreme Court. It has honor to serve the forum in such a high place. Thank you and may Dave bless you all.

I have already created a seperate thread encouraging republicans to vote for MAS, but I think it is important to state again in this thread.  MAS IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR SENATE.  As chairman of the AFRNC, I believe that MAS is the best choice in this race to replace Sen. migrendel.

You did see this, I hope...

As the constitutionality of the Federal Activity Act has been called into question, I am going to delay any recall election for one week, until the weekend of November 5th.  If the Supreme Court has not resolved these questions by that time, we will proceed with the recall election.

I urge the President to appoint a Justice forthwith, the Senate to confirm the appointment, and the Court to quickly resolve both matters currently before it.

It gets worse - President JFK does not return until this Saturday.

I have already emailed JFK privately, but I will also publically state my interest in being appointed to the Supreme Court. I am willing to answer any questions in this vein that Forumites might have; I hope I have the support of both the outgoing President and the President-Elect in such a venture.

I'm happy to announce a new endorsement for my senate race, that of the brand new Atlas forum party, the Constitutional Union Party of Atlasia, and its Chairman, HTMLDON. Thank you Don!

Having a justice that actually understands certain legal issues would certainly be an improvement.
NUM endorses Pete for SCJ. AFL-CIO does as well.

...I am hear tonight to announce my candidacy for the the 2B Senate seat in the recall of Sen. Migrendal...

Can someone explain to me why the Senator is being recalled, when he's being recalled if he in fact is, and when did this happen?

He was being recalled due to the Federal Activity Act, which has now been declared unconstitutional.

It's a little late for that now and my services aren't wanted in the AG spot. I'm thinking about working as a paralegal or perhaps asking the AFCLU to appoint me their Director of Legal Affairs or some such post.

My plan is presently to establish a law firm in the not too distant future (basically when I have time to put together a webpage for it) and then to join a party with the intent of becoming spokesman for legal affairs, not sure which party though.
