It's not as if there really was that much of a difference - I'd probably not care enough to not vote third party.

Could someone explain what the heck this means to a newbie like me?

I'm a person of libertarian leanings, who used to be Republican.  I recently switched to Democrat due to a realization that personal freedoms are a lot more important than a few points one way or the other in the top tax rate.  The GOP has become controlled by the Christian right, and I won't share a party with people like that.

I don't agree with the religious right and I'm still here...Sad

No offense to ya, opebo.

But in this situation, I would either vote third party, or not at all.

Vote Ilikeverin/Mr. Fresh for the Helvetia Party Smiley

Ilikeverin/Mr. Fresh support giving bank accounts to evil villains!  How can anyone think of supporting such a policy?

and you live in in New York. one of the few states where the religious right doesn't control the Republican party.

Anyway, blue opebo was an awful fascist, red opebo kicks ass.

Be very careful what you're voting into power - you know they're in near total control of the GOP.
