A big enough wave washes a lot of trash on the shore.

DAVID PERDUE on @ThisWeekABC goes from 'do not recall' toward outright denial of 'sh**thole countries' : "This is a gross misrepresentation, and this is not the first time Sen. Durbin has done it."

Well, Perdue's Republican Senate colleague Tim Scott has already gone on record that Lindsay Graham has said to him that the reports about Trump's "sh**thole" comments were "basically accurate".

What is it now? "Gross misprepresentation" or "basically accurate"? One side within the Republican Party is clearly lying here.
Hell, what does "basically accurate" even mean? Lol, this is pretty sad.

Well, I guess it would be up to Donald Trump to clear this up. So far, he has merely denied that he has used these exact words, but he also said that he used "tough language" at the meeting, whatever that means. Trump seems pretty coy in revealing which words he has used exactly.

He's just covering for the fact that he can't remember what he said.

For all the blue avatars or anybody else on here trying to defend this comment. The problem with the statement isn't that he called the countries s**tholes. We all agree that these country are lesser developed than the US and have several problems. The problem is that he said he rather have immigrants from Norway. Anybody who thinks that he chose Norway because it just happens to be a more developed country is lying to themselves. He know what he was doing, he meant to be sly, he meant it to be racist, and anybody on here who denies it or try to take it out of context is just as bad as him.

Maybe but could it be that Norway also has a low corruption rating, developed economy, highly skilled workers, and citizens that are bilingual and frequently speak English? Just a thought. Immigration is more than just skin color.

I just imagine Lincoln or TR sitting in the Oval Office and saying "why do we always get people from sh**tholes like Ireland and Italy?".

Boo-yah!

Didn’t this more or less happen?

As much as I disagree with Trump on almost everything else, he's not wrong to classify such countries in this way.

I mean, what are countries like Nigeria, Congo or Pakistan - other than sh*tholes ?

You don’t judge immigrants by the caliber of the countries in which they are born, but by the caliber of American they can become

My brother-in-law, from a "s***hole" country, works harder every day than you have ever had to work in your life, Donny. Hillary's comment could at least have applied to Trump. He really is racist, deplorable, and irredeemable.

So does my cousins fathers brothers nephews former roommate

So your former roommate?

Idk bro. I’m drunk and I was quoting spaceballs

How mature.

Sorry man. I’m 22 and in college what else ani suppost to fo on friday

Study. What you're supposed to be doing.

Oh come. Repeat. He's 22, in college, and it's Friday. I'm pretty sure it is against local Municipal ordinances for him not to be drinking beer. At the minimum it would be un-American of him.

I contributed to patriotism greatly in my college days

John Brennan is the most politicized CIA Director since William J. Casey.

That being said, Trump was wrong to say this, period.  Being right on the issue is somewhat negated when your lack of self-control needlessly alienates folks for no reason.

Obama put him in after getting re-elected. This was inevitable.

100% agree and that's why we should expand the H1B program, make it easier for them to become citizens while opposing Illegal Immigration.
