Personally the main effect will be that it will consolidate the gop base in the senate races and that at the same time it will screw some incumbents in Clinton-Rep seats.

However, I believe it was going to happen anyway. It's just making it more quickly. If Heitkamp loses by 10 points, it means that she was already going to lose by 10 points. Does that make sense? Tongue
