I am willing to bet right now that McCaskill wins reelection, so long as Trump's approval ratings are in the low 40s or below. I think she and a number of other Senate Democrats are vastly underrated, especially in a Trump midterm.

If they keep reelecting her, they have no right to complain anyway. And I'll certainly admit that she represents her party very well.

No, I think she knows her state very well. What she did in 2012 was one of the most politically genius moves in most of our lifetimes. It'll definitely be a tough battle next year, but I wouldn't bet against her. She's not afraid to engage the other side and go into hostile territory. And I would say that she is very likable and personable, qualities you cannot discount, particularly in a state like Missouri. (And before you mention Kander, he far outperformed Hillary, but those qualities can only push you up so far.)
