I would've qualified, but ever since I realized Portuguese-Americans can identify as Hispanic if they choose to, I do that.  Being half-German, I suppose I'm at least partially white, and white people certainly frighten me more than any other race.  I'll never move to a lily-white town, that's for sure.  

Ah, but would you ever move to anywhere that has more than a smattering White people? And where the White people don't behave like decent middle-class Hispanic-Americans?

Mind you, I'm not afraid of anyone, really.  However, a pack of honkies rocking pink polos coming towards me certainly has me more on guard than any "thuggish" looking black or brown in the city.

Some whites may think whites have acted as racist overbearing selfish types who seek to exploit others (in other words, it's the "whites' culture" that sucks if such a thing is even barely possible as a generalization), but a white hating whites because he hates white skin, and thus loathes or looks down on someone subject to getting sun burned?  I guess such chaps might exist, but they're at once sickies and rare.

If we're using that type of definition of "racist" though, then the black guy I know in the scene here who hates hip-hop and basically all of hip-hop and black culture is a self-hating anti-black racist. Or the ethnically Jewish but atheist guy on another forum who lives in Brooklyn and talks about how he thinks it'd be fun to throw slabs of pork at Hasidic synagogues and how he planned on walking through Borough Park on Yom Kippur eating a bacon cheeseburger (I'm not sure if he actually did it, he could've just been joking) is an anti-Semite and also bigoted against himself. Actually come to think of it this would also make just about all white people in the scene also anti-white racists due to their attitudes toward mainstream white culture.

Well the Jewish guy's stuff seems kind of racist/anti-semitic. I mean, vandalizing a place of worship with a forbidden food doesn't strike you as bigoted?

I would feel more uncomfortable in an all-black neighbourhood. Black people tend to be sloppy proles or godawful gangbangers. Who would want to be among them? Plus, most of the worst people in the world are black.

There's a good discussion to be had as to why some people feel that rising diversity in the U.S. could lead to a more just society. It's not likely to arise in this thread or elsewhere on the forum.

Does that obtain for all societies, or just to what would otherwise be more white societies, or just to the US? I see no reason not to get into whatever you think won't be gone into, and do it right now.

Its generally easier to get a majority for a relatively high tax level to fund social programmes and a high level of redistribution in a homogenous society, because you are funding "your own people" and raising living standards of people "who could have been me". But whether that kind of solidarity exists between White Americans is very doubtfull, since they are such a diverse group. Still its an interesting question if a less diverse America would have been somewhat more egalitarian. At least the "unworthy" stereotypes like welfare queens etc. that have been used to stigmatize the poor are almost always portrayed as minorities.   

Indeed. I highly doubt that Europe's recent skepticism of the welfare state and mass immigration are merely coincidental.

Probably about 2 in 10 strongly support affirmative action and the other components of the war on whites.

Please explain how on Earth affirmative action is supposed to constitute a "war on whites", krazen. I've been rejected from a high school because of affirmative action - so don't try to pull the "of course you don't care, it doesn't affect you" card.
