The Democrats. I cannot comprehend while more people has voted for the Republicans. The Republicans of the 1850s would find at least SOME common ground with the Republicans of today. The Democrats of the same era would find little to nothing in common with today's Democrats. Minority issues, gender issues, the economy, civil war, etc.
