Lina Hidalgo is less than thirty years old?! That 1. makes a lot of sense given how attractive she is and 2. is really impressive given how high-profile and how powerful her position apparently is these days.

Maricopa County electing a Democrat County Recoder -- and Arizona electing Hobbs Secretary of State -- were also huge. These races do matter.

I've said before that, in terms of people's day-to-day lives, the most important position on the ballot in my town this year is Franklin County Register of Probate. (However, it was unopposed.)
