That will be the Whitest crowd the Bronx will have seen since at least the 1950s.

Trump is not here to win the Bronx, he is here to show that he cares about black people, unlike Biden. Blacks who could be decisive in Virignie and especially in PA. The suburbs also like a candidate who speaks to all of America. Therefore, Biden is expected to hold a rally in a rural county.

Media coverage was good, mission accomplished

WTF is "Virignie"? Trump doesn't about Black people. I don't have to get into history again but he is the mostly openly anti-Black President since Wilson

Since Trump did this. Biden should counter by having a rally in say West Virginia or North Dakota.

Trump going to south Bronx is him riding on the narrative that he is making inroads with AAs and Hispanics as what polling and the MSM media suggests. Biden going to West Virginia would be nonsensical as there are no talks about him making inroads with rural whites nor the polls are showing so, no evidence to suggest that currently.

It still makes no sense to go to an area you aren't going to win in a state you aren't going to win. Trump lost the Black vote in his own primary to Haley if precinct analysis is accurate so polling is not to believed.

Local ABC News reported about a thousand rally goers, mostly with out of state license plates, and about a hundred counterprotesters, virtually all from NYC. The rally was astroturfed, as I suspected

1000 attendees seems pretty horrible and as suspected they weren't local.

The crowd size was about as big as what a free concert for a cover band would get

Keep in mind that New York has at least 3 competitive House Seats in New York City proper: NY-1 (LaLota), NY-2 (D'Esposito) and NY-3 (Suozzi).
Trump won't win in NY State but if he gets 42-43 % instead of 37 % that makes a huge difference down ballot.
Trump only barely won Suffolk County (Long Island) which is a traditional Republican-leaning County, in 2020. Lyndon Johnson won it 1964, Clinton in 1996, Gore in 2000, Kerry in 2004 and Obama in '08 and '12. It has mostly been RED in the 20th and 21st Century.

None of those districts includes the Bronx.

Thrilled to see that Trump is wasting time and resources in a safe state.

The more Trump reaches out to minorities, and the more minorities that join the Trump Train, will cause a domino effect in other states. Just because Trump rallied in a deep blue part of the country doesn’t mean it won’t have ramifications nationwide….

There were a handful of minorities in the crowd but it looked mostly like more of the same Trump crowd. And no one cares about this. People will forget about this rally two days from now.

It can be hard to tell whites and latinos apart from distant shots but based on the images I saw, the crowd seemed to be predominantly Hispanic.

Lot of latinos are “white” lol. Never understood the idea that being Hispanic is automatically associated with being brown or something.

When it comes to the Bronx, there's an expectation of a lot of thise Hispanics being Dominican. And they are generally darker skinned.

A lot of people don't understand this. Especially those looking to make political arguments.

I still think Biden should counter by doing an event in red state like West Virginia or North Dakota. It can't hurt to show people you care about them. There is an old saying people want to be asked.

There's a risk of being heckled badly or even worse a very sparse crowd (Biden's not going to pay people to show up). Both of those would give that media a narrative to run with.
