a week ago, I think Ames was going to be an easy win for Bachmann... now, I think Paul will beat her, but I'm not sure.

In tweeter people are saying Bachmann has won this. But only "God" knows.

Oh, and Paul's saying he expects to get+5000 votes. Do you think it's possible?

politico reporting total vote count is at 16,892.

Much lower than prior years...

Irony? 10% more than in 2007!

Mike Huckabee encorages Tim Pawlenty to stay in the race no matter what:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/13/mike-huckabee-tim-pawlenty_n_926283.html?ref=tw

a Huckabee support could be crucial to T-Paw campaign.

I think I was wrong. there were 718 write-ins, not 718 write-ins for Perry.  He may have beaten Romney, anyways.

162 votes were "scattered".

And, what about Palin?

from @FixAaron: "That's right folks, two members of the HOUSE just took the top two spots in Ames, and it wasn't close. "

That's true! is one of them the new Abraham Lincoln? hahahaha

Oh, and Santorum's not quitting. Obviously. Encouraging results for him

Palin got less than 1% of the vote, because she's not been counted.

Conspirancy won't help Paul.

what do those results mean? IMO, no one will suspend his/her campaign. Palin may decide against running, and Gingrich could quit. no more.
