Quick question: if the DS constitution says that you may not post twice in a voting booth thread, how can the governor's vote count?

I assume you mena post twice, unless he did actually vote twice, in which case the opening of the voting booth doesn't  count as a post.

I changed it just as you posted, so it actually says it in what you quoted. Late nights lead to typos for me. Wink

But yes, that would be my question. If the Governor starts the thread and posts his vote, is that not an invalidated vote? That should be changed in the Constitution.

I would think and hope not. But it should be clarified in the Constitution.

A new suggestion: the DS uses the stimulus money to spend on some kind of product that is highly flammable, and instead burns that product to avoid currency destruction laws.

In retrospect, just giving the money back to the citizens would have been a far better idea.

In retrospect, just giving the money back to the citizens would have been a far better idea.

You could also, you know, use it for its intended purpose.

Heaven forbid.

The Southeast never fails to surprise me by being so fabulously f**king stupid. What is so hard about taking the money and using it? Jesus Christ, you guys. This entire debate is ridiculous. If you actually cared about saving money or being fiscal conservatives, you wouldn't burn it. That's not libertarian, that's just childish.

Besides, you were given money largely for a set of specific purposes, not just handed a few hundred billion to do with as you please. If you don't use the money for it's intended purpose, it's taken away from you and sent to the other regions. The only thing that would affect the Southeast is the reduced taxes and the blanket financial aid.

I would've said that your taxes wouldn't be reduced either if you guys decided to act like children, but that's sadly unconstitutional.

If they burn the money (not intended purpose obviously), and the fed revokes it, do they have to come up with all those funds to pay back? Smiley
