I find it dissapointing how unhinged many Sanders supporters have gotten in the last few weeks when it comes to Warren. My vote is still up in the air, and my primary isnt untill March. But its making it real hard to even consider voting for Sanders.

Like, in what world is Elizabeth Warren a neo-liberal right winger?

In the same world where Jeff Flake and Bob Corker are considered RINOs.

In addition to investment in the Maine Senate race, the memo from Roger Lau mentions support for:
-House Dems in "states like" Illinois and California, where the party has freshmen to defend
-Investment in Georgia to support Dems in BOTH Senate races
-state legislative campaigns in Michigan and Minnesota
-state parties in Texas and Florida

Liz is building the party. She's the only candidate that fully understands the stakes of this next election and is ACTING on it.

I would like to see her not just supporting dems, but progressive dems. Warren is decidedly to the right of Bernie and her record shows that she should not be completely trusted.

"You get the same energy you give" sounds good. There are ways to call out attacks against Warren without being generally vile (notice how I didn't call out Alfred or Mohamed). If you start using terms with racist and sexist connotations, I'll call it out every time. When you say the term "Bernie Bro", what you're really saying to women/POC is "If you don't support my candidate, you're selling out your people."

 This was a very good thread about Elizabeth Warren's policies and campaigning, as soon as the Bernie people get involved it becomes about nonsense and turns divisive. This is the very reason why Bernie Sanders and his supporters could never build a political revolution.

Like I said, we don't need a fifth posts saying "POCAHONTAS BAD" or "GOP TALKING POINTS STUPID". Me posting it would add nothing to the discussion and change no minds.

If you decided to present your point in a way that didn't stereotype people, we would have been fine. I would have smiled, nodded, and moved on my merry way. One Warren weakness that I think will get exploited later is her lack of experience.

She has, what, 7 years in the Senate?  With few accomplishments (not her fault).  And then a few years with the CFPB and her time as a Harvard professor.

She doesn't have any foreign policy experience.  She doesn't have any background on racial issues.  Really she just has economic background, and repeats the Democratic platform on everything else with a sprinkling of strategically extreme policy positions, like supporting reparations.

You can definitely make an argument that she's not the complete package and would be better suited as a cabinet member or VP.

To really take advantage of this, we would need some non-economic issue to matter in the primary, which hasn't happened yet.  Gun control never had much impact.  But that would have been one thing where, Biden wrote and passed the 1994 assault weapons ban, what has Warren done?
