Oh dear. I hope they are not going to take this openly stealing the election thing to the next level.
Well, I kind of have a feeling that's the direction it's going.

So people were saying we would get more Georgia results at 11, is that true?

I think Trump is preparing for a rematch with Biden in 2024.

I don't agree with you on a ton, Ljube, but I agree on this.

Hoping for Biden to lose either GA or AZ ...
Why?

Fox and AP are probably the reason Nevada hasn't been called.
If they would just take back their AZ calls then we could just move on from NV.

Philly wants to be the knockout punch on Trump. It's waiting until the overall vote is in a window where it puts Biden in a comfortable lead once the Philly results drop.
What's the real benefit of elected officials choosing to do that, though? It seems hyper-partisan. I don't think that's their actual intention.

I'd rather a rural county put Biden over the top to dilute the Trump enthusiast stolen election message.
Nothing will dilute those delusion messages.

Curious; is it possible for say Hazel and Perdue to merge their votes in GA? Same with Loefeller and Collins?
No.

Al Gross declaring victory is clearly the most insane thing said today.
Wtf, that is the most bizarre one I've heard.

Edit - to anyone reading this later, this was false, it was just "we think we'll win when the votes are counted".

Biden might pull into the lead for GA tonight. It's not enough for a call, though.

9k at most. They sent out 9k ballots they haven't received, does not mean they will get them by tomorrow.
And, on top of that, the ballots aren't terribly likely to be enough to wash out a Biden lead due to the left-leaning nature of expats (balancing out military R-bias, if there is any) and the likely low number of ballots that will be received by tomorrow.

You can hear the timer ticking towards zero for Donald Trump.

It's definitely going to be a recount.
Wouldn't necessarily go that far (some plausible scenarios would have Biden avoiding a recount), but yes, a recount is likely.
Isn't a recount up to a campaign's team to request and fund?

So... in AZ, is Kelly's victory in doubt at all?
Some networks had already called it but DDHQ just called it after the last dump. He's outrunning Biden by about 2% so he should be safe regardless of the state's outcome.

Is this on the basis of an inevitable recount or are they stopping the count here and now?
They are assuming legal arguments, recounts, ballots here and there, etc. etc. probably.

Hold up, did Biden just lose a little bit in Georgia?
I think I'm seeing that too, losing a couple hundred. I wonder where that is from?

Maybe I'm just misremembering what it was before.

Really hope some people don't start with the whole "Joe Biden isn't my President" BS.

Joe Biden IS your President
Donald Trump was your President
Barack Obama was your President

I wish them all the best.  I will support Joe Biden as he begins his term and hope he does well even though I don't think its the best direction at all.

I just want to say Buzz, thank for being really civil and gracious in a time where you are clearly disappointed. It isn't fun when things don't go your way politically, and it really gives me a glimmer of hope to see reactions like this. I hope America overall can return to a more civil, less divide nation in the future.

Kinda want Trump to chill out because this might hurt his 2024 prospects, on the other hand I feel there is plenty of things that can be exposed in our voting system.  Also Trump has already proved he can go full moronic idiot mode and it doesn't matter.

Do you mind me asking why you’d like to see him run again/support his run again?
He almost won in this terrible environment, he would win in 2024 easily.

If Trump loses he's not going to win in 2024--the party will drop him like a hot plate and next time he won't have 18 candidates to divide the anti-Trump vote--if anything there will be newcomers that will divide his.

I fully expect Trump to go the Ross Perot route and run Independent or try to pick up the Libertarian and/or Constitution Party nomination.
Guaranteeing a Dem victory in 2024? I wouldn't mind. But I'm not convinced that 1) Trump will run again, 2) that he would win the primary, or 3) he will have the monetary backing or energy to mount a true independent campaign.

Probably when Biden's lead exceeds the recount threshold (0.5%).
And when can we expect that to be?? Next week?
