What happens if it doesn't get approved? Do they go back to the old flag, or is it back to the drawing board?

The commission designs another flag and another vote is held in November 2021.

Probably will pass. Both parties, all churches, all kinds organizations, etc., are pushing for Yes. There's no organized No movement out there.

Most Mississippians are ready to move on from the flag crisis.
