Stop viewing everything through an insane liberal arts bubble because not everything that a liberal arts department would consider bigoted is bigoted.

What does this even mean? I have a math degree and I say the mods are doing a good job. Does my opinion therefore carry extra weight to you? (I mean, I'll take it, but it probably shouldn't for that reason.)

This is the conservative line right now. "Everybody that disagrees with me has an English degree!" It's getting to the point where pretty much anything a conservative says is incoherent to anyone outside of their bubble.

Which is funny because, kindly, Computer89 is not known as one of the more literate members of this site. Perhaps he should pursue a liberal arts degree of his own.

Another issue that really hurts forums like Atlas is when people who act like characters from Mean Girls go off to form little communities in other spaces, whether different websites or Discord servers or whatever, and then they periodically bring all that drama here. They derail threads, ruin conversations, and the rest of the forum doesn't even know what the f-ck they're talking about.

That seems to be happening more here. People will bring their sh-tty discord behavior here and expect everybody to respect it, and then they develop an increasingly severe persecution complex when nobody does.

Is crane’s behavior acceptable then? All he does is launch personal attack after personal attack at posters here so why is it ok for him to act the way he does .

Coincidentally you’re at the same time conforming to the exact stereotype of linear thinking and inability to think and inability to process the whole that all the Indian tech people at my work have as well. But again, that’s not everyone.

No , that’s simply not how actual people talk . People say stuff like this all the time and hell we used to say it all the time as well . During the Cold War we’d always say “the Russians are the bad guys”

That is offensive and wrong too because the "bad guys" was the Soviet government, not the Russian people. I hate Putin, but I would support someone being modded for saying "the Russians are bad" and "they deserve what they get because they support Putin."
