Yes. It was essentially his entire argument for the nomination in 2020. The fact that he went from "the only one who can beat Trump" to "the only one who can lose to Trump" is already very damaging.

I'm not really sure either of these were ever true; in general I don't see many people flipping because of who the Democratic candidate is and while Biden faces age attacks, other Dem candidates would've faced other attacks that would likely be similar in magnitude.
