Is there any indication of why AP and Fox News were confident in calling AZ for Biden?

Idk, but I saw someone on Twitter pointed out the total number of votes in Biggs and Lesko district are higher than those in Gallego and Stanton districts.

Total number LEFT or total number COUNTED. If it’s the latter, I feel quite good about it.

Present count total for Gallego: ~172k
Present count total for Stanton: ~293k
Present count total for Lesko: ~357k
Present count total for Biggs: ~368k

The last time I saw that picture is was attributed to Chicago. Man, these folks seem to get around!

Or, you know, this ain't want is being claimed. And you're kind of a fool to believe it if you do. And an awful person if you don't believe it but shared it anyway.

Ian Miles Cheong having a normal one

Had to see if he was being sarcastic or not. Nope. He’s just another MAGA troll. Funny how a lot of these folks use their middle names. News flash: it just makes you sound like a murderer.

Oh Ian's been super alt-right for as long as I've known of his existence. Though I think he's one of the twerps who gets offended if you correctly characterize their politics. He's also something of an outrage grifter, which... is probably what he's up to there.

So Biden might win 5 states by 1 million or more

California
New York
Illinois (maybe?)
Massachusetts
Maryland (maybe?)

Trump's best state looks like Tennessee at 700k or so.

Also note that Biden's margin in California is around 5 million.

This is kinda important, it shows how packed up Democratic voters really are, it's actually gotten worse since 2016.   It's now actually feasible to see the Democrats winning the popular vote by 4-5% and the Republicans still winning the Electoral College.

Is this really sustainable?   Would the government have real legitimacy with such a loopsided flipped result?   The elected National Leader winning significantly fewer votes than his opponent and still being elected to office?

It sounds like a broken system to me.

What would be the outcome if EC votes were proportional to population? Ie if Wyoming keeps their three EC votes and every state then gets a number proportional to their voting population? It would be a way to keep the EC but make it fairer

If one is going to go through the constitutional amendment process for such a change, might as well dump the EC entirely and save a lot of hassle.

LOL.  Really?

Under Covid, it seems most of the troops will be relaxing in the barracks, playing Xbox.

Both you and I know 99% of the military has it easy.  Unless you're deployed to a combat zone.

Yeah it doesn't work like that. They have jobs and have to do them.

And a lot of military members have been straight up banned from going to things like gyms or the movies, even where they're open.

Unless you actually served, your opinion means nothing.

Don't mean to be rude, but just sayin'

I'm only awaiting ReapSow's response (someone who claims to be active duty.  And who absurdly claimed the Coast Guard wasn't military.  LMAO).

I will not have the validity of my service nor my integrity questioned by you again. You may reply to this, but I will never see it.

The good ol' CAC once again.

Part of me is loving how salty he is about losing Georgia (and Georgia, specifically).

This.

Why are Atlas liberals so upset about Trump becoming unhinged about the election results?  He has no chance in overturning the results.  We're literally watching him televise how his life is falling apart.  Just enjoy the show everyone.

Even attempting to overturn the results of a clearly legitimate election is a sign of authoritarianism. And if it is not actively opposed, it can be successful. It would be nice if he sat down, shut up, and started packing his spray on tan bottles instead of perpetuating attacks on the very democracy he is supposed to defend as president and encouraging his loyalists to do the same. I'd love that. Most folks I think would love that. But instead the nonsense continues and we're being forced to address it.

And your base is brainwashed too to believe that the blm and the destruction of our cities is acceptable. It really freaking isn't. We both know elements of the left did in fact committ violence this summer and I'll admit that elements of the right probably joined in. I am pretty far to the left on a great number of issues and voted for sanders in 2016 and 2020 but violence is never the answer. I believe Trump clearly losed to Biden but if we're going to heal this nation we have to condemn all violence be it left or right. We both must look in the mirror.

Also I believe Covid to be real. It is really sad Sad I'll even admit that Trump burnt his own house down with his own liberterian small government inaction having to do with this virus.

There's never going to be any healing if we both can't admit that our sides have at least some wrongs on our hands. I know for a fact the left isn't peaceful and the actions taken by many leftist groups are completely unacceptable. I watched it on live streams and t.v for months.

I keep seeing and hearing folks making claims along these lines... and I can't help but ask for the evidence that blm is for the destruction of the cities where most of its supporters live. It just seems a little... ridiculous. Of course, there is that whole state purpose of BLM that its about, you know, black lives mattering and maybe we shouldn't be executing so many black people in the streets. But I never see anyone on the right actually try to address that. Its all claims of secret plots and trying to equate the 10 to 1 dominance of anti-blm/right wing violence to that of blm related things without even bothering to address the unevenness of the scale, focus of the targets, or even daring to look at the lop sided body count.

Like seriously, I want to know what you specifically think blm is actually about, what the purpose of it actually is, why people are upset and feel they should risk their lives marching and calling for justice for those who've been murdered by police, and please provide credible evidence from original sources to back up your claim if it is as ridiculous and non-sensical as you seem to be suggesting it is. Because damn, I'm so tired of this innuendo crap of repeating a big lie over and over again like this. Aka, put up, or shut up.

This is ridiculous.  Trump looked bad before "Dumb and Dumber" went to work.

Ah, but now he has someone else he can put the blame on instead of accepting responsibility for his own failures.

People who lean left really didn't mess around this election. Howie Hawkins only got .25%. That's the worst performance for the Green Party I've ever seen. Howie Hawkins doesn't even seem that bad, he's not a clown like Stein but still, rather impressive how united the left was this election.

One side effect of being a clown (and supported via a rather corrupt support network) is that it meant Stein got attention, for better or worse. And was thus more of a known figure on the left compared to Hawkins.
