No, because Trump was doing Putins work for him, so there would be no need. And no, I am not talking about Trump being a russian agent, but rather about Trump dividing the US and weakening the western alliance, which is Putins primary goal.

According to almost every Trumper I know, this wouldn’t be happening if Trump were still president.
Well, they are likely right, but for the wrong reasons. They think it is because Trump is a strong leader, when in reality it would be because Trump is already doing what Putin wants to effectuate.
