Klobuchar says it was the air vents.

Andrew Yang said it was freezing. I think Cynthia Nixon made a complaint about the air con when she ran. I worked under an air con unit and I would shake because the air comes straight down and it’s freezing cold but nobody else feels it until they stand exactly where you are.

shorest day of the year...but doing 27 campaigns stops in rural Iowa. The only candidate going all 99 counties!!! this is serious rural campaiging!!! waste of time for these coastal democrats racking up votes in des moines, davenport, waterloo and cedar rapids.

It’s the shortest day of the year but the longest day of @amyklobuchar’s Iowa bus tour. We’re on the road, set to hit 10 stops across southern Iowa 🚌

Amys 27 county tour - this is important because it goes against every other democrat strategy who are pouring resources into the big areas and shes the only one making the effort in these tiny counties. will it matter ..we will see.

Friday 20th December stops.
Stop 1 - Henry County Trump 5799 Clinton 2904 votes
Stop 2 - Jefferson County Trump 3748 Clinton 3710 votes
Stop 3 - Van Buren County Trump 2527 Clinton 845 votes
Stop 4 - Davis County Trump 2723 Clinton 977 votes
Stop 5 - Appanoose County Trump 4033 Clinton 1814 votes

Saturday 21st December stops
Stop 6 - Wayne County Trump 2069 Clinton 719 votes
Stop 7 - Decatur County Trump 2296 Clinton 1201 votes
will update later as not entirely sure where shes going county wise.

She did say last night at Centreville that campaigning in rural Iowa is good training for Nebraska, Kansas and Texas panhandle. Bold! Nebraska-2, kansas and texas means winning big.

Klobuchar really is a good campaigner when she gets into her element. People like to say Warren is the wonk candidate, but I think Klobs might have her beat.

The difference is that Klobuchar is an actual wonk while Warren always retreats into populist demagoguery and rehearsed talking points when challenged.

Klobuchar has the strongest electability case and I want a democratic Senate! I'm donating today to her campaign.

I admit she's looked nervous in the past but her confidence is rapidly growing. Understandable since she has been on the national scene for all of 6 months.

Congrats!

She’s had more people attend her rallies in New Hampshire in the last two days than Pete did in Iowa but it doesn’t fit the narrative that’s being rammed down our throats.

We need polls because she’s simply so much better than Pete Buttigieg.

Update here is the video
https://www.salon.com/2020/01/02/amy-klobuchar-promises-to-declassify-ufo-documents-if-elected-report/

This is getting quite a lot of talk in New Hampshire. The paper has asked all the presidential candidates this question because of what happened in New Hampshire - story copied below.

In an interview this week with the Conway Daily Sun, a local New Hampshire newspaper, Klobuchar hinted that she would be open to revealing government secrets concerning UFOs if elected president.

In October, the paper asked Klobuchar if she was familiar with a New Hampshire man named David Fravor, who was made famous for his account of chasing a UFO off the West Coast as a U.S. Navy fighter pilot in 2004. Klobuchar told the Daily Sun she would look into it. On Monday, she confirmed she did.

“I think we don’t know enough ... I don’t know what’s happened, not just with that sighting, but with others,” she said, referring to Fravor. “And I think one of the things a president could do is to look into what’s there in terms of what does the science say; what does our military say."
She added: “Here’s the interesting part of that answer is that some of this stuff is really old ... So, why can’t you see if you can let some of that out for the public so earnest journalists like you who are trying to get the bottom of the truth would be able to see it?”

The paper has asked all the presidential candidates this question because of what happened in New Hampshire

What have the other candidates said?

https://mysteriousuniverse.org/2020/01/presidential-candidate-amy-klobuchar-answers-ufo-question/

Yang apparently said he would de-classify area 51. the reporters name is Daymond Steer who has done lots of work for the paper with regards to the David Fravor story and asks the question whenever a presidential candidates is interviewed by the board. Bernie did say he had no interest in UFOs but did later tell Joe Rogan on a podcast that he would reject it. All the other candidates said they would look into it but not interested. Hence why klobuchars comments have made headlines.

Is New Hampshire a good place for UFO government conspiracy cases...I thought this stuff belonged in places like Arizona. The number of UFO sightings in Arizona is ridiculous.

Daymond Steer did ask Trump who said When asked about the briefing he received on the USS Nimitz UFO incident, President Trump commented:

“I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

What's interesting with this is that at every event you get a caucus card and if you want to commit you give your details over so for the past 3-6months she's been picking up all these endorsement cards and data points so will have a list of everyone in each county that will or won't caucus for her. Its all about turnout.

She now has over 100 staffers on the ground in Iowa.

That is not really interesting, it is par for the course. That is how every single remotely serious Iowa caucus campaign works, and how they have worked in previous campaigns going back decades.

100 organizers is good, but other campaigns will also (or should also) have that. And they will also have organizers in other early states in similar sorts of #s, which presumably Klobuchar does not have due to greater financial constraints for her.

When that doesn't really work because Amy is the only person to have gone and campaigned in all 99 counties. Pete is on 49 counties. So she has campaigned in 50 more counties than Pete and all the other major candidates (all were in the 40s as of last week).

Look I'm not saying Amy is going to win Iowa! I'm just saying her campaign is go where its difficult, go where its rural and ask for their vote. Nobody else is doing that they just want to campaign where its easy. lets see what happens. I don't understand how anyone with a brain can honestly go to the polls and with a choice of Warren, Biden, Yang, Klobuchar, Sanders, Booker, Steyer go hmm I'M going to vote for a 37 year old gay dude from Indiana who lost a state race by 25 pts lost the DNC Chair and was a mayor of a town that hasn't voted Republican since the 1970s.

She was in Bettendorf this morning. He next event is in Sioux City later today.

Here is a guess for why she would be campaigning in those eastern cities, other than the fact that they have a lot of people, obviously.

If she is surging, those are probably the areas where she would have the most difficulty getting over the 15% viability threshold. So I think maybe she is thinking that if she is surging, she will be viable elsewhere and needs to make sure she is also viable in the more progressive cities, so that she doesn't end up losing delegates from lack of viability in precincts.

Don’t want to say to much but 80% of precincts will see no more than 400 people. So you need 60 to hit viability.

Hint on strategy
If you’re a republican, you can change registration to democrat and vote in the caucus.

http://www.startribune.com/amy-klobuchar-faces-final-iowa-verdict/567492902/

Quote
But in a symbolic victory for Klobuchar, Kelly Shaw, the Republican Mayor of Indianola, announced Friday that he will switch parties and caucus for Klobuchar.

A Klobuchar adviser said that caucus night organizing has focused in part on rural areas and Iowa's northern swath, along the Minnesota border. The campaign also sees fertile ground in more blue-collar, older cities like Waterloo and Davenport, as well as suburban areas around Des Moines and Cedar Rapids.

It's a sound but potentially risky strategy, said Christopher Larimer, a political-science professor at the University of Northern Iowa.

"It would have to a be a pretty good sweep" of rural areas, plus "finishing first or second in most of northern Iowa," Larimer said.

"The big question for me is how does she do in the suburbs. I think she'll do well in rural areas," said Jeff Link, an Iowa strategist who worked for Obama's winning Iowa caucus campaign in 2008.

So apparently Johnson county is owned by sanders and Warren. It’s brutal for everyone else

Could somebody explain the issue with her as DA in detail?

Was she responsible or push for the wrongful conviction?

So my understanding is the following

- The innocence project looked into the case and did some investigating. After investigating they dropped the case
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innocence_Project
- Mike Freeman has been lead attorny since 2006 and he hasn't received anything regarding the case. Amy said that any new evidence should be immediately reported to mike freemans office. Hes been leading the office for nearly 14 years.
- He was convicted twice. Amy was already in the senate the second time.
- Another thing that is questionable is that the story says things like that Amy banned the mom from seeing the alleged shooter. No thats what a judge decides. The context is important because an 11 year girl was shot dead and like everything nobody takes responsibility for what happened.

My main concern are the sources within the NAACP - Nakima called Ilhan Omar a conservative democrat and when she ran for minneapolis mayor Klobuchar didnt support her and like most black life matters hit jobs its all about the narrative rather than the facts. I don't get this kamala is a cop amy is a cop crap.

If Amy was a man, I bet she would be ahead of the pack today. Just saying...

She is the only well-rounded candidate in my book, and if you look at her objectively it would be obvious to everyone. She is the perfect age. Has great political experience at getting things done. She is from snow country and is tough. She even looks the most presidential in my book. Of course if you are Republican then none of this matters, but it should matter to Dems.

Trump would be at a disadvantage by debating a strong female such as Amy....she would likely stomp all over him, and there is plenty to stomp on for sure. I'd like to see her be the one to debate our bully impeached dictator.

Part of what Pete and Bernie have going for them is that there are a significant number of folks that are excited about voting for them rather than simply against someone else.

Exactly. I can just imagine that Pete would be my friend, you know, like the mayor next door, which makes me excited because he is so smart and charismatic, and I like to have friends like that because it makes me feel smart and charismatic too and actualizes me.

anyone who votes for pete buttigeg doesnt belong in the democratic party.

Hes a liar. a fraud. has no regard for human being and will do anything to screw over people to get a job.
