We didn't spent decades overcoming the distortions and lies of the Lost Cause to merely replace it with another collection of distortions and lies.

It's good, I've read a couple of their articles. Also there's nothing anti-American about the NYT discussing the history of slavery in this nation.

An unbiased review of the history of slavery is fine, but that is not what this is. This is a left wing version of the Lost Cause.

Tbh the theory that slavery represents a unique and immutable original sin that is responsible for everything bad about America remind me most of the old theory of the "Norman yoke" that has afflicted England since 1066.

Is this the conceptualization of England as a colony under cross channel rule or is that something else?
