The lack of credit given to Dean is truly disturbing.
The "scream" truly ruined his life.

The scream didn't happen until AFTER he had come in third in Iowa despite being expected to have won it for months by a lot.
It looked like he had an excellent chance of winning before John Kerry surged into the lead in IA.
Yes, and the scream did not happen until AFTER his defeat in Iowa. Therefore blaming his defeat on it is very dumb.
Though people do anyway, since the scream really just highlighted how screwed he was. Because of that, people mistake it for the reason that he was screwed.
