No President has had such an immediately positive effect on foreign policy as has Obama. Some of his domestic policy is also long-overdue.

Explain. Unless you count making us less safe a positive effect, than yeah I totally agree.

Well, your allies no longer detest your leader, which is obviously important, but the most obvious thing is that by being prepared to work with other nations, other nations are actually respecting the US's opinion - something that hasn't been true since at least 2003.
