The first half of that quote seems to be some sort of severely ahistorical satire on Genealogy of Morals.
It serves the analogy, at least. I felt it would rob the latter half of context if I omitted it. The entire series of articles is worth a read, though, if you find yourself with an hour of two free for Rand-bashing.

I saw a good panel discussion on Ayn Rand at Freedom Fest aired on C-SPAN a couple years ago.
