"Alben Barkley" (D-KY) vs. Rand Paul (R-KY), 2022 KY Senate election

As I just turned 30 a couple months ago, I am now old enough to run for Senate, which means in theory the earliest I could become a Senator is by defeating Rand Paul in 2022.

I am almost afraid to even see what the results of this poll will be, but I like to think that even those of you who don't like me would be able to swallow your pride enough to vote for me over Rand Paul of all people.

Let's just see how this goes...

When I saw the partial thread title I was hoping this was going to be "Alben Barkley" (the poster) vs. Alben Barkley (the long late Vice President).

I vote for the angry self-centered gun lover from Lexington of course, but of all the emotions I need to swallow for this vote, pride is not one of them.

Also, for everyone surprised I’m 30, haven’t I alluded to the fact that I was born in the early 90s like a million times here? SMH.
