They would literally be better off under something like Mao again, and that's not an endorsement of Mao.

I'm no fan of the current PRC, but huh, what?

Who the HELL are the 7 people who voted that it is a good government?!
The OP and Intell for sure, it's hard to tell with:dax, Sabot cat and Crabby.  Maybe a troll vote or two or maybe a chicken sh**t vote* or two.

*voting in these things in the extreme minority means, at least to me, you have to post in the thread to defend your odd position (there are exceptions).  It happens to all of us from time to time, I always try to.  Every so often spelling things out shows me why I'm wrong.  Sometimes people show me I'm wrong after posting.  Nearly every time I learn something and can either better defend my position, alter it or "convert".

Generally speaking yes, but if you're born in the sticks and can't get a visa to go work in a factory two towns over putting together iPods you're pretty much screwed.

Capitalistic countries don't limit internal movement of it's people.
(yes I'm aware there are exceptions, there are always exceptions, but the other 99.7% of the time it's true)
