Biden would have to start a new Vietnam to put Baldwin in hot water. This will likely be her closest re-election, but she should still win

YES! The number of PATRIOTS running is really heartening to see.

Lol republicans can’t help but continuously shoot themselves in the foot. They’ve about blown it clean off

Tom Tiffany is literally an election denier lol
Awesome. So was Ron Johnson, Mike Garcia, Ted Budd, Lee Zeldin, etc. Normal people don't care about that.

Literally no. As much as y’all try and minimize the fact you staged a coup people still find it repugnant

WOW, three candidates got elected! I guess normal people don't care about socialism because there are double that number of socialists in the House alone.

Woodbury doesn’t count them as “normal” means apart of the Republican hivemind

This race feels reminiscent of 2022 AZ-SEN

According to Fox News Representative Tom “Wilson” announced he’s not running.

I have no idea how they messed up his name so bad. In the headline and first summary they have “Tom Wilson” but everywhere after that it’s talking about Tiffany. There’s currently no Wilsons in the Wisconsin legislature so idk who they could confuse him for.

He's in

Baldwin will outrun Casey. Calling it

The NRCC will fight tooth and nail to make sure he isn’t the nominee, just like they’ll do with Kari Lake and Jim Marchant.

Yes thats why we have Senator McCormick of Pennsylvania

I don't understand how statewide races can ever end up without a serious nominee. What, the state party can't convince some random state rep to give it a go? Even as a sacrificial lamb?

Campaigns are expensive and time* consuming. Not everyone can just stop their lives for six months on something they know is pointless.

Which is often why when you do get a rando state legislator, it's cause they lost out locally. Redistricting, coalition shifts, or factional infighting renders their chances of reelection low, which raises the comparative value of a long-shot statewide campaign.

I also have a “theory” a lot of them do it as a way to “retire with a bang”. I think Val Demings and/or Charlie Crist could fall into this category. Others might be Themis Klarides in CT, and Bob McDermott in HI

Looks like he's officially announcing tomorrow:

That 'stache! I don't know if it will help or hurt him.

His bigger problem is that he’s a Californian.

So Baldwin will give him the Dr. Oz treatment. I feel better about this race.

What’s the wisconsin equivalent of crudité?

For the overall WI electorate though, kinda makes him look a bit weird ngl, especially since he's just another rich man. Gives me Oz vibes a bit - tries too hard to be down to earth and it makes him seem very unnatural and out of touch.

Masters had school shooter vibes in a way that I don’t think any other high profile candidate ever has before. There are a lot of contenders for the biggest whiffs Republicans made in 2022, but for a statewide slate, Arizona is definitely in contention. Along with Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Kid who you’re conspicuously nice to in case he shoots up school, Wino aunt who says slurs at drag brunch, neighbor who you have blocked on Facebook, and the “devils advocate” in your law class.

What an amazing slate.

Coming to a Baldwin campaign ad near you.

Going after the olds now? This guy may be giving Oz a run for his money with how awful and out of touch he is.

Don’t forget Masters ran against social security in Arizona
