Nice to see Republican voters are vigilant in the gubernatorial primary.

I never cared for Diane Black either. She seems some rich person who got into politics out of lack of anything better to do.

That, and the fact she seems to be embarrassed to actually be a woman.

Isn't she the one that always insisted on being called "Congressman"? Guess she won't have to worry about that anymore.

She and Blackburn both did that.  I voted for Bill Lee, but I have met Diane Black on multiple occasions, and I believe your characterization of her is inaccurate.  She and her husband are both truly passionate about their values and got into politics to serve what they believe in.  She would have made an excellent governor as well.

Yeah, Diane Black seems like a great person, but having Lee on the ticket gives me more confidence in the Republican odds of keeping Tennessee red. The Dems are sorely disappointed they won't be able to Moore her.

Wow, Michigan has really shocked me tonight. I didn't think Whitmer would be able to hold on after all of Abdul's last minute momentum. Sorry guys. El-Sayed still has a future though and so do his kooky ideas. All in for Schuette now! #KeepMichiganRed

This is as important, if not more, than the Ohio-12 election. Not only because of the result itself but what it says about the potential popularity of right-to-work across the Midwest. The GOP should be worried here.

I’m really happy that Tulsi Gabbard defeated her primary challengers. Because, it’s really refreshing to know their still are Democrats that are opposed to Neoconservative regime change efforts against Iran and Syria, that will only further destabilize those countries and cost thousands of lives and Trillions of dollars.

Gabbard is also against regime change war in North Korea, which would be the same, except replace thousands with millions, so yeah.

It looks like Pawlenty losing is the only big surprise of the night.

LOL knew it... another massive upset against an establishment woman. At this point Whitmer's primary win is looking very unusual.

It's possible that NYT might have mistaken Martha Mcsally and Joe Arpaio. They pretty frequently make silly errors like that. I remember they showed Stack up by 60% in one of the western PA counties, but it ended up being Fetterman up by 60% instead.

I'd expect Mcsally to get around high 40's in the primary.

I swear, the NYT must be paying smashed Gen Z'ers to do data entry. If they hadn't hired that racist Sarah Jeong I would probably still be a subscriber & they could afford to get someone more professional.

McSally has to deal with a divided base, Sinema doesn't with her 82% of the vote so far. It's clear who has the upper hand in this battle entering the GE.

More like, the primary has made McSally look moderate. I thought Sinema will win, but I'm not confident about it anymore.

Are you kidding me? She walked BACK on her support of DACA to match Ward and Arpaio. In what way did the primary make her look "moderate"? On the other hand, Sinema didn't have to pander to either the left or the right.

Sinema is a moderate white Democratic woman, like Gwen Graham and Hillary Clinton. Usually these types choke in close elections. Come to think of it, I'm changing my prediction for this race.

I don't give a crap if Ayanna throws Capuano out, but I'm getting a bit scared for Lynch, cause I really do care about that race.

So do I. Brianna all the way.

If NY Dems can actually keep rents down the party would actually be good for something.
