Then there will be a civil war...the odds of them being able to take the rest of Donetsk Oblast are slim but Kharkiv? Lol.

It's not as fantastical as those that say that they will still end up taking Odesa (Ukraine has a better chance of taking Moscow than the Russians have of taking Odesa), but Kharkiv is a fantasy as well. If they couldn't get it in the opening hours of the war when the ZSU was scrambling, they have no chance now. Hell, they couldn't even put it under siege to start the war!

The current Russian government has only emboldened the west to have a stranglehold over Eastern Europe and have plunged millions into poverty and starvation through their failure at competence and attracting support in Ukraine other than making this about US culture wars. A revival of the Soviet Union would lead to an ushering of prosperity like never before and be able to defeat western imperialism.

This is not a call supporting the fighting of Wagner over Putin, only to do what is right. Also “extremist”, don’t give me this defeatist liberal speak, say what you mean.
