An all-vegetarian Indian restaurant (specifically serving Mumbai street food) opened up right down the street from me last year and has helped expose me to the cuisine. Prior I was always kind of hesitant to try it. But I f***ing love it now. I've been hooked on vada pavs since they opened.
They have also helped me want to branch out and try other types of Indian food now too. Indian restaurants were always fairly common here in northern New Jersey, and now I can take full advantage of them without much hesitancy.
