Lisa Murkowski Surrogate Schedule

Vice President Paul Ryan

Paul Ryan held rallies in Colombia and Charleston, South Carolina, before heading back to Washington for Vice Presidential duties. He later joins Lisa Murkowski in the GOTV effort in Henderson, NV to target suburban voters with outreach focused on the work Murkowski has done to lower regulation along with the Romney administration.

Representative Mark Amodei

Mark Amodei greeted Lisa Murkowski to the state with a joint rally in Reno. Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad “Support” in Nevada, South Carolina, North Dakota, and Texas

“Senator Murkowski is an independent thinker. I learned early on that she’s not willing to give up a fight that she believes strongly in, or principles that she holds dearly. This means we don’t always agree, but no one can say that she doesn’t have the best interests of Americans at heart. That’s why I’ve been happy to support her campaign, and proud to call her a friend.”

“At home, I get asked sometimes, ‘What made you support Lisa?’ And well, there’s plenty of reasons. Lisa is a true maverick, and won’t let anyone but the people tell her what she should or shouldn’t stand for. She believes in our right to own a gun, that the government to stay out of the way of small business growth, and that we should all have cheap, reliable energy. I know this is what Nevada wants, and I believe it’s what America wants too.”

(Message on caucus support added in Nevada)

“Hi, I’m Lisa Murkowski, and I endorse this message from my friends, because they know my principles and values. I respectfully ask for your support at tomorrow’s caucus, because we believe in a better way for America.”

Murkowski Campaign GOTV in Nevada

The Murkowski campaign’s GOTV in Nevada is focused on outreach to rural and suburban voters who are friendly to her pro-energy, independent policy plans, alongside heavily targeting supporters of Mitt Romney from 2012, with Murkowski personally in the Clark county suburbs. The campaign’s strategy  to hone in on a positive message, highlighting Murkowski’s energy policy, support of second amendment rights, and maverick nature in the Senate, is to help garner support of voters who are tired of politics as usual. Phone banking and canvassing efforts included details of where to and how to caucus in one’s precinct, this included a robocall from Vice President Paul Ryan, urging Romney supporters to caucus for Murkowski.

Lisa Murkowski Speaks to Supporters About Caucus Results

“Nevada, I know this isn’t the result we hoped for, but this is still very much a race! We kept it close, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together on this campaign. I want to congratulate Representative Amash on his win tonight, and I look forward to the debate of ideas ahead in this primary. This is far from over, and we will keep working hard in North Dakota, South Carolina, and across this country to send a message that we are through with politics as usual, and ready for a new voice to represent the American people. We have a winning coalition that will push us ahead in this primary, and to the White House. Thank you all for putting your faith and support in me, and this campaign is all of ours to share.”

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad "Second" in ND, SC, TX, TN, and WY

"I've been hunting for as long as I can remember, I think it's just what you do when you're from a more rural area. Being able to hunt for your own food is something that has long bonded my family, friends, and I, and I can not imagine dismantling such an American tradition."

"I believe in protections against the attacks being levied at the Second Amendment, which enshrines the right for us to keep and bare arms, free of infringement. This isn't just an issue of protection and safety of Americans, but also an issue of livelihood, sportsmanship, and of sustainability."

"As President, I will continue the work I've done in the Senate to not only advance the Second Amendment, but also identify attempts to inhibit it. I support this message because I believe in protecting your constitutional rights."

(May edit these photos, as right now I'm struggling to find ones that will actually post correctly.)

Lisa Murkowski Re-Airs Ad in ND, SC, TX, NC, and VA

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad, “Our Veterans” in IA, ND, SC, and NH

“The US military is the strongest in the world. We have maintained a powerful, agile, and adept force that keeps us safe from threats at home and abroad.”

“This is why I’ve fought so hard in the senate to not only garner funding for bases and projects, but also for improving family support and preventing sexual assault.”

“Too often, politicians use our armed forces as a political football, but when it’s time to take a stand for funding or oversight on veterans issues, they’re nowhere to be found.”

“That’s why I have lead the fight  for independent oversight of the VA, fought for the return of “Care Closer to Home,” and been uncompromising in my support of our veterans.”

“I’m Lisa Murkowski, and I support this message, because our veterans deserve the best.”

Lisa Murkowski Speaks to Supporters in Columbia

“South Carolina! This is so wonderful, isn’t it? I’m so proud of the campaign we’ve created together, and this is a hard fought victory for us to share and celebrate. Our campaign has been aggressively positive, hopeful, and forward looking, and it looks like that’s the message that resonated across this great state. I want to congratulate the other candidates in both this party’s primary, and the other’s, for their work in this race, let me tell you, running for President isn’t for the faint of heart, but neither is actually being President. I look forward to the ability to share my vision of economic stability, energy independence, and a more freedom focused federal government with voters on Super Tuesday. However, tonight, we get to celebrate what all of you worked so hard to achieve, thank you!”

Lisa Murkowski Super Tuesday Schedule

March 1st:

Rally in Greenville, NC on the need for a balanced budget and economic stability

Town hall in Norfolk, VA on trade

Rally in Virginia Beach on Murkowski's plan for modernization of the military and expanding veteran programs

March 2nd:

Rally in Dallas, TX on energy independence

"Texas is one of the biggest energy producers in the country, and I think that is precisely why there's been such a robust population and economic boom right here. While politicians choose optics and showboating over solutions, real Americans are concerned with the cost of utilities, transportation, and good paying jobs. We do not need an 'either or' approach to energy, we need a 'yes, and' approach that prioritizes diversity in our energy portfolio. Texas, you know this is beneficial to not only keep costs of living low, but to also stimulate economic growth and allow us to rely on ourselves for energy production."

Town Hall in Arlington, TX on public lands

Joint rally in Fort Worth with Kay Granger on national security

Rally in Waco, TX on the need for low regulations to promote business growth

March 3rd:

Joint rally with Mimi Walters in Irvine, CA, speaking on the need for a pragmatic leader in Washington

Town Hall in Santa Ana, CA on education reform

Rally in Anaheim before holding GOTV operations there

Lisa Murkowski Runs Ad "Results" in CA, VA, NC, MI, OH, and ME

"Washington is known for gridlock, partisanship, and a glacial operating speed. What we need is a President that understands how to beat back this ineffectiveness, someone with a proven track record of results, someone like Lisa Murkowski."

"Lisa Murkowski has helped cosponsor legislation to allow consumers to have transparency with prescription drug prices, expanding infrastructure for Alzheimer's treatment, and modernizing our energy and resource policies. She has worked to end the gridlock by cosponsoring legislation that provides results, not based on what party bosses tell her."

"Lisa Murkowski has spent her career listening to the concerns of her constituents, working to fight for the rights of the individual over the party politics of Washington."

"I'm Lisa Murkowski, and I approve this message, because Americans deserve a better, results driven Washington."

Lisa Murkowski Remarks at GOP Women's Event in Irvine, CA

"Something I'm really grateful for is that the support for our campaign has really quieted the argument that the GOP somehow isn't a party supportive of women. In the Senate, I've worked to extend the deadline for the ERA, fought for reform to the way the military handles sexual assault, and expanded benefits to spouses of veterans. We are the party of Margaret Chase Smith, in fact, my friend, Susan Collins, sits at her very desk. We know that women don't vote on their gender, we vote on results and solutions to our problems. That's what this campaign has been all about, tried and true results to problems facing this country, protecting the rights of the individual, and maintaining economic growth through low regulation and taxes."

Lisa Murkowski Releases Statement on Maduro

“In a free and fair society, every vote should be counted, and we should all be able to rest easy knowing our leaders are legitimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case with Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. The irregularities in his election, the extremism of his regime, and the crisis he has created in Venezuela are all disqualifying on there own, and are especially together. I am hopeful that the country can move on with its rightful President Juan Guaidó, and I look forward to working together to heal the rifts Maduro left on relations between our great nations.”

Lisa Murkowski Speaks to Supporters on Super Tuesday Results

“Your hard work paid off! Wow! As the results have come in, I have been more humbled by the coalition we have built together. From Alaska to Wyoming, here in California, in Virginia and Alabama, primary voters have put their support and trust into not just me, but the vision supported by all of you. Even where we didn’t win, we kept it close enough to grab the delegate lead. Naysayers have claimed that the Republican primary is unwinnable by an independent thinking woman from Alaska, but tonight, we proved them wrong! This primary is far from over, but Super Tuesday has put the wind at our backs, and together, we will win. Thank you!”

Lisa Runs Ad “Independent Energy” in Iowa, North Dakota, New Hampshire, and Nevada

“This country was founded on independence. We don’t like to have to rely on anyone else in order to function as a nation.”

“As an Alaskan, I understand this also carries over to our energy production.”

“We must pursue all energy production types if we are truly to be independent. This means using our natural resources effectively, with oil, natural gas, solar, and wind all working hand in hand to power our industry and our homes.”

“I’m Lisa Murkowski, and as Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, I have worked to push the United States into an energy policy as independent as her people. I can promise you I will carry this effort into the White House to keep your energy costs down, and standards up. I endorse this message because a truly energy independent country is within our reach.”
