A word of caution-We will not know the CA margins for a few days after the election. This is not the establishment rigging it, just a ton of mail in ballots.

More like 5 weeks. CA vote counting takes ages.

I will not be watching the results live because it's 1am to 6am here.

This week is really hectic at my company (lots of orders to process and ship and other stuff), so I need to get up at 5 and head to work at 6.

Will probably watch the results come in as I'm typing in the orders ... Wink

I will probably take off the day after the general election instead, even though I have a feeling that Trump gets re-elected.

Roughly 70% of Vienna Dems Abroad voters are for Bernie:

Quote
It is "incredibly important to her that the candidate has a chance against Trump," says architecture student Laura, who has lived in Austria for six years and is participating in a Democrats Abroad area code for the first time. And that, in her opinion, was Sanders, whose policy she also found right overall. "He represents interests that are extremely important in foreign policy, for example," she says.

With Joe Biden, she fears that "a situation like 2016 will repeat itself" when Hillary Clinton was unable to prevail against Trump. That is also what Bill thinks, a little older, who hopes to take steps from Sanders to combat inequality. Anyone who lives in Europe knows that Sanders' social-democratic proposals for health and education systems will work, Sanders is "not a radical". But: "Whoever is the opponent of Trump, I'll choose him - even Bloomberg, although I hate the idea," he says.

The left-liberal Austrian newspaper „Standard“ has a Super Tuesday live ticker and you can choose between Sanders and Biden as a registered user.

Sanders currently leads Biden by 60-10 votes among registered users.

Voted for Sanders as well.

Democrats Abroad can also vote here in Salzburg, but the Vienna restaurant precinct is the bigger one.

More than 400 voted there during the 2016 primaries between Sanders and Hilldog.

It is expected that 500 to 1000 Democrats abroad will vote in person this time.

That’s quite interesting because there are only a few thousand Americans living in Austria at all.

Question about CO:

How can Pete only be at 0.2% if it’s almost 100% a mail-in state ?

Most of the ballots were mailed in before SC, like in CA, so he should be at 10%+ ...

Is it just the Election Day vote that was counted so far ?

I believe Pete and Amy contacted the SOS and asked their votes to not be counted.

That’s absurd and anti-Democratic.

Prediction:

Neither Bloomberg nor Warren will be in the race anymore by Friday.

Then it’s Joe vs. Bernie vs. Tulsi.

Bring it on !

Interesting stuff out of CO:

Quote
Notice: Michael Bennet, Pete Buttigieg, John K. Delaney and Amy Klobuchar officially withdrew as candidates for the Democratic Party.

Under Colorado law, any votes cast for candidates who formally withdraw after ballots are printed are invalid and shall not be counted.

As a result, no results for these candidates will be displayed on this state results page or any individual county results page.

Ballots cast in the D primary: 755.264
Ballots cast in the R primary: 638.584

Total ballots cast: 1.551.042

Total ballots cast include 157.194 votes that were NOT cast in the DEM & GOP primaries (= invalid votes) !

If we exclude the regular couple thousand invalid votes in every election, it means that Buttigieg and Klobuchar combined for some 155.000 votes.

755.000+155.000 = 910.000 votes cast in the D primary

Bottom line: Buttigieg and Klobuchar got some 17% combined in CO.

Yes, and it also means Bernie got closer to 30% of the vote than the reported 36%.

By my calculation, it is:

30% Sanders (36%)
19% Biden (23%)
17% Bloomberg (21%)
17% Pete/Amy (0%)
14% Warren (17%)
  1% Gabbard
  2% Others

It will take 5 weeks until all votes are counted in CA.

There are millions of mail ballots left to process.

Judging by the results in CA and UT, where Pete got more than double the share of Amy, we can further assume that Pete got around 12% of the vote in CO and Amy 5%.

In reality, Biden already has a more than 2:1 lead over Sanders in delegates if you add Bloomberg/Buttigieg and Klobuchars delegates + 90% of the superdelegates (which Biden will get).

Biden already has 1.300 delegates in this case vs. 600 or so for Bernie.
