Please state a cogent argument for infringing on personal freedoms. If that is not possible, please delete this asinine question.

My view: While I do think that some religious homeschoolers shelter their children and sometimes resort to indoctrination, many homeschoolers actually skip high school and take classes at community college and local four-year schools.  In fact, many of them go to elite universities. One women complained to the NY Post that the Ivy League is now replete with this social vermin. Oh, the humanity! First they win our spelling and geography competitions and now they're graduating valedictorian from Princeton!  From Stanford to Rice to Yale, homeschoolers are gaining in number and are outperforming their non-homeschooled peers.  Some schools like Penn even recruit homeschoolers.

What do you think the state run schools do?

Anyhow, option 3 (love freedom/not the states business).
Well, few accuse public schools of sheltering children...

I apologize for not posting a topic worthy of your high standards?
I'm sorry if that posts sounds haughty. I only meant that if you're going to posit such a controversial proposition, it would be helpful if you posted an argument on its behalf.
