I doubt it: he'll be old, and his actions of late indicate that he intends to spend he rest of his life writing books and speaking at AEI (where an endowed chair is likely being prepared for him).

Yeah, he doesn't win again as a Republican and doesn't get the nom as a Democrat.

I wonder what appointed position he'd make sense for in an administration.  Maybe National Security Advisor?

there was some talk of him serving as Secretary of Homeland Security in a McCain administration.
