The actual Pro-Putin left is pretty small, but I voted option 2 because I'm sure anyone who likes someone like Glenn Greenwald gets smeared as Pro-Putin.

Most of the "left" was pro-Putin in 2012 when Romney was mocked for calling Russia America's number one geopolitical foe.
Then again, much of the #resistance was still in the Republican party at this point as well. Now that imperialist war criminals / war criminal apologists like Frum and Kristol have by and large migrated to the Democrats, they're trying to purge the party of any rational, antiwar voices by associating them with Putin.
Lockheed's shareholders must love this development - one party to lower their corporate tax bill and the other to froth up security hysteria to juice those weapons contracts.
