Man, I can't stand Tulsi:

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/jul/23/tulsi-gabbard-kamala-harris-not-qualified-serve-co/

Tulsi has been bizarrely silent on and defensive of Biden who she actually disagrees with, but goes after Kamala on temperament?

I knew she was a bad draw on the debate stage for Harris. I am hoping her political irrelevance doesn't give her a real opportunity to go after Kamala on stage. And the merits of her opinion aside, dumb to telegraph a potential punch weeks out. Harris kept her mouth shut before knifing Biden so effectively.

Kamala Harris is a frontrunner who can speak however much she wants about any topic on the debate stage. Tulsi is an also-ran who needs to pick a fight in advance to hopefully steer the moderators towards asking her to double down. We saw this from the GOP also-rans in 2016. They were often unsuccessful in doubling down.
This. Whatever Tulsi says will be an afterthought.

1. I love Kamala just ignores Gabbard. She's right to do so. She's irrelevant.

2. Not quite sure attacking Harris on a daily basis is a good strategy. Kamala now expects Tulsi to come after her in the debate, and she'll be ready.

3. LOL @ her accusing Harris of attacking Biden for political gain when she's doing the exact same thing to Kamala.

That Harris staffer had quite the one-liner takedown of Gabbard, though. If Harris used that line in the debate, Gabbard might have to drop out on stage.

You're making me feel icky clicking through to the Washington Times. Can we use real news sources next time?
Free Beacon and Washington Times are the only ones to pick it up so far.

Really says something about her entire campaign.

She's been championed by people like David Duke, Mike Cernovich, and Tim Pool... now we know she's a darling of right-wing media.

Why do we need to ask 'who the real Kamala Harris' is? If she's a genuine authentic politician, we wouldn't need to ask that question.

Mental gymnastics.

You’d be saying something different if it was the title for Bernie or Biden.

*sigh* it’s sad that we live in an age where nobody read the article anymore.

It’s about development in the black community.

I want to inform everyone on Atlas that Warren is literally a co sponsor of this bill..

Anyways, never saw Bernie or Warren do this. Bravo, Kamala!

I like Harris but this stan behavior is not that serious. Can you provide receipts about Warren? What bill are you talking about? How is she a co-sponsor of a policy proposal for Harris’ presidential campaign?

And you’ve never saw Bernie or Warren do what?

Kamala’s bill on pell grants, introduced on July 25th, was cosponsored by Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Elizabeth Warren.

https://www.harris.senate.gov/news/press-releases/harris-introduces-basic-act-to-help-college-students-afford-basic-needs

It’s not “Stan” behavior. It’s called defending her on a site the criticizes Harris for the dumbest things.

Kamala Harris has come up with a health care proposal, which is basically a more tempered version of Bernie Sanders' Medicare-for-All:

Kamala Harris' new health plan: Medicare for all — with private insurers

This puts my fears regarding her healthcare views to rest. It's a very smart plan. 70% of Americans support M4A with private insurance (half of Republicans and 70% of independents) while only 41% support the plans Warren and Sanders are proposing which eliminate private insurance.

Kathleen Sebelius endorsed it a few hours ago saying it would expand the ACA, right after Biden attacked it and said that it would hurt Obamacare, so he just fell into another thorn bush regarding Harris.

Are you incapable of doing your own research?

That’s not a student debt proposal, it’s a general bill about helping college students meet basic needs such as food, housing, and transportation. It only mentions student loan debt once.

Harris literally never said that it was her plan to tackling the overall debt crisis. It's for development in the black community since the overall idea invests $100 Billion for STEM in HBCUs... You guys need to come up with better attacks, because right now you all look silly falling over yourselves to pick apart things that don't need to be picked apart.

Stop, it's already dead!!! I get that this is airheaded, but throwing policies out during a primary is not supposed to be a serious exercise that requires legitimate evaluation prior to election. How is literally everyone throwing a burn at this? What did Liz start in this endless series of less and less serious proposals?

Warren's proposals despite being economically sh**t actually make coherent sense.

That sentence is a complete contradiction of its self.

Nice take by Kyle Kulinski on the hypocrisy and BS of CNN airing a full 12-minute Kamala Harris ad as "news".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2d2j5XnxFg

Kulinski is nothing but a Sanders shill. Him along with TYT and Sam Seder think that anything that doesn’t involve something positive about Bernie is just the establishment out to destroy him... so not much different from atlas.

Kamala just proved herself an economically illiterate with this proposal.. thinking it will raise 1.2 trillion. LOL.

The problem with these revenue estimates... 60% of all trading today is high frequency trading. They make 0.01% on a trade. Kamala taxing 0.20% will not gain any revenue from them. You can be sure.

The rest of the institutions will simply move to London or Frankfurt and trade Apple ADRs or Apple future contracts there. No revenue for Kamala.

The only ones left holding the bag are mom and pops who can't move to London. Poor Kamala.

And now, a word from our local economics expert...

Harris with another ridiculous plan. She is a terrible candidate.

Her new Medicare for all, apart from preserving private insurance, would take 10 years. 10 years. So even if she wins re-election & serves for 8 years, she would not be able to implement Medicare for all over 2 terms & would leave it in the hands of the next President.

The plan is realistic, unlike Bernie's. You can't immediately, and safely, eliminate private insurance with a signature on a piece of legislation. Something as radical (by American standards) as Medicare for all is something that needs to be taken in over time. Her plan is pragmatic and smart and should be well received by the electorate.

Harris also clearly states on her issues webpage that anybody will be able to immediately buy into Medicare once the legislation passes.

Let's not forget that the plan she, or Warren, or Sanders supports has to also be supported by people like Sinema, Tester, and Manchin. And the fact that 70% of Americans support M4A w/ private insurance shows that her plan would have an easier time passing congress than Warren's or Sanders'. She's politically smart and that's another thing Atlas loves to forget about when it comes to her. Plus, her policies have been great. LIFT, clean water, rape kit backlog, universal pre-k, and now a progressive healthcare policy that potentially has the support of nearly 70% of Americans? Those are fantastic. But apparently her policies suck because her team poorly communicated one policy that related to student debt and people misunderstood its broader purpose.

This.

And Obama said Medicare for All was a good idea 10 months ago. Biden needs to shut up and drop out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sebellius personally helped Harris craft the policy.

They'll never give her credit for anything.

Also, anybody bringing up the "she's a cop" routine is an idiot. Being President is completely different than being a prosecutor. She has pledged to reform our unjust criminal justice system if elected President and based on her voting record so far in the Senate, I believe that she will.

Also, she's been laying out some good policy proposals but they've been getting mostly ignored.
Honestly i find it amusing that she’s being attacked from both the left and the right simultaneously.
Bernies team are being extra but to bernies credit he was gracious, he said Kamala is my friend and made his point, no personal attacks. Biden’s been acting entitled so it’s amusing to see the architects of Obama care endorsing her plan over his.
Her spokesperson reiterated that she still supports bernies bill, just like Bernie supporters Brian Schwartz bill that he cosponsored. He also said her plan is a result of listening to people she’s met on the campaign trail.

LOL

Her debate performance last night overall was fairly weak. She avoided answering questions and did not directly respond to attacks. I am surprised she was not better prepared knowing that she would be a target after she was on the attack in the first debate. Her interviews afterward were equally cringeworthy when she belittled Tulsi instead of addressing the points she made during the debate.

Belittling Gabbard is appropriate. She’s nothing but a product of right wing internet support.

Wow you are comparing Kamala a candidate who doesnt register even 1% in the polls . Wow maybe Gabbard did really drop Kamala from a Tier 1 candidate to a Tier 2 or lower lol.

Here’s the thing, this is a DEMOCRATIC primary which means it matters who DEMOCRATS want. And as far as I know, the only endorsements Gabbard is getting are from right wingers: Mike Cernovich, Meghan McCain, PJW, Steve Brannon, David Duke outlets like Breitbart, Drudge, RT, and the Free Beacon. I understand you like her because she’s right wing and she pwned brown cop lady, but your opinion doesn’t really matter in the primary.

lmao no, she is pretty liberal , its just that the Dems have just gone so far to the left that people like Tusli seems centrists lol.

The tye of Dem I want is not Tulsi or Biden, I want the 94-04 Dem Party back

So liberal she voted to significantly reduce the amount of refugees we would admit. So liberal she spoke out against gay marriage and worked for her dad’s conversion therapy program (I understand people evolve, but you people always say that in defense of Gabbard and brush aside Harris’ evolution on issues like marijuana). Oh! And she’s so liberal that she supports right wing Hindu nationalists. Oh and how can we forget that she’s so liberal she votes with Trump more than Harris does. Again, you’re a Republican. The direction we take the party is up to us. But thanks for your concerns!

just close your eyes and accept Joseph Biden as your lord and savior

Harris picked up a bunch of endorsements yet Atlas predicts she'll fall to fifth place in the polls. Make it make sense

I mean, endorsements aren't nothing. But last night showed that the first debate was a fluke, and she's not as good at debating as we all thought. Some of us might be overcorrecting.

Lol a "fluke". I think Atlas is really overrating Tulsi's (highly misleading) attacks on Harris. mainly because they have a very weird hatred for Kamala.

It was a fluke, and not just because of Tulsi's attack last night. She couldn't replicate her June performance, and it now looks more like she performed well in June because she caught Biden off guard, not because she's an amazing debater.

She was polling 6% back in June. She wasn't first tier. That was an opportunity to be able to get her name out. Now that she's tie one she's getting attacked (as expected)... how are you so bad at his?
