Flake running as an independent might actually help Republicans, just as hypothetical polls showed Lugar/Castle independent runs helping Mourdock/O'Donnell, and how an independent Crist run helped Rubio. His approval with Republicans was already toxic, and would only fall even lower once he announced an independent candidacy.

Apparently anything that happens helps Ward...

I really hope McSally runs, just to drain Ward's resources and then Flake runs as an independent. Hand Sinema the senate seat!

And Rand Paul wonders why nobody votes for him.

My beef with Rand Paul is not his views, it's the fact that ever since he conceded the nomination he has been proving over and over again he's an opportunist. He's been very inconsistent with his beliefs, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if his views aligned more with Sinema than Ward.

All of these Republicans jumping on the primary train is just going to help Sinema. As we have seen from the reports, she is out raising frontunner, Kelli Ward by miles and I would imagine she would out raise McSally in the primary. The primary is going to drain Ward's resources.
Sinema's biggest challenge for the nomination is Deedra Abboud and in a poll taken last month she only garnered 16% to Sinema's 61%. She's going to slide easily to the nomination. Whoever wins for the Republicans will be very damaged and facing a strong and steady Democrat.

Lmao McConnell just screwed the GOP's last hope of keeping Flake's seat. McSally is going to have his stench all over her.

Senator Sinema.
