LPT: Having jfern on ignore is necessary to make browsing the forum tolerable.

But he's not wrong.  Russia Russia Russia 24/7/365 makes people tune out, and they're clearly tuned out with the 01/06 committee.

Except for the problem that Trump was guilty in Russiagate, his campaign did have a relationship with the Russian hackers that he was aware of and he did fire Comey to obstruct the investigation. So you are arguing “It’s your fault for investigating something Trump is guilty of for why no is taking seriously something Trump is guilty of”. Do you realize how absurd that is?

Guilty?  I didn't see any convictions, but okay.  Bob Mueller let the air out of every Russian balloon in D.C. and people are done with these nothingburger commissions.

White House records obtained so far by January 6 committee show no record of calls to and from Trump during riot

Quote
White House call records now in possession of congressional investigators do not reflect calls made to or from then-President Donald Trump as the violence unfolded on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021, leaving them with gaps so far in their understanding of what transpired that day, three sources familiar with the House investigation into the insurrection tell CNN.

The records the House select committee has obtained do not contain entries of phone calls between the president and lawmakers that have been widely reported in the press. Trump was known to make calls using personal cell phones, which could account for those.

Two of the sources, who have also reviewed the presidential diary from that day, say it contains scant information and no record of phone calls for several hours after Trump returned to the Oval Office after giving a speech to his supporters at the Ellipse until he emerged to address the nation in a video from the Rose Garden.

The Republican Chairwoman of Taylor County, Georgia was arrested on March 11 in connection to the attempted coup on 1/6/2021.

Quote
One of the Georgians arrested last week on charges of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot is a local Republican Party official, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned.

Mandy Robinson-Hand and her husband, Charles Hand III, were arrested Friday by the FBI and charged with four misdemeanors related to their alleged entry into the Capitol alongside hundreds of others in the pro-Trump crowd. Robinson-Hand is listed as chairwoman of the Taylor County Republican Party on the website of the Georgia Republican Party and her Facebook page shows she was involved in local politics in the Middle Georgia county.

The evening before her March 11 arrest, Robinson-Hand advertised a political fundraiser for congressional candidate Wayne Johnson on her Facebook page.

4 misdemeanors and let go on a ROR.  Terrifying couple.

So, basically, he's obstructing justice again.

Dude, Trump using his cell phone is old old news.

US Capitol rioter who said he believed he was following Trump's orders found guilty on all charges.

A January 6 rioter who claimed he was following "presidential orders" when he stormed the US Capitol and stole liquor and a coat rack was convicted Thursday on all charges by a jury in Washington, DC.

Dustin Thompson, a 38-year-old exterminator from Ohio, faced six charges -- obstructing an official proceeding, theft of government property, illegally entering the Capitol, illegally protesting in the Capitol, and two counts of disorderly conduct in the Capitol.

Another trump cultist bites-the-dust and is CANCELLED.
The more of these buffoons are in jail, the safer our nation will be.

It's good the jury understood that President Trump was not issuing orders to anyone.

That tape is probably the end of Kevin McCarthy's hope for the Speakership next January.

Good news!

Say hello to Speaker Jim Jordan!

Now that would be entertaining to say the least.

Even without, it was always a longshot. I'm predicting Scalise as speaker.

Gonna make a hot take and say they go with the big man himself.

I don't have a nuclear explosion gif, but that's what it would be.

Did anyone not assume this stuff was going on?

Judging by the responses from people TRAITORS like Fuzzy Bear, Grumps, etc they simply don’t care.

FTFY.  I would not have reported your consistency as a personal attack.

Can you believe there are people out there that think that all the transpired on Jan 6th was 200 morons breaking a book shelf and rubbing poop on the walls?
These people need mental assistance.

How many of those arrested (way more than 200) were arrested for trespassing or other misdemeanors?  I think a lot.

January 6 committee investigating Capitol tour given by GOP lawmaker on the eve of the insurrection

Quote
The House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection has formally requested information from Rep. Barry Loudermilk, a Republican from Georgia, about a US Capitol tour he gave to visitors the day before rioters stormed the building.

In a letter to Loudermilk, the committee said they are looking for more information about the purpose of the tour and its participants.

“Based on our review of evidence in the Select Committee’s possession, we believe you have information regarding a tour you led through parts of the Capitol complex on January 5, 2021,” Chairman Bennie Thompson, a Democrat from Mississippi, and Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney, a Republican from Wyoming, wrote in the letter.

“The foregoing information raises questions to which the Select Committee must seek answers. Public reporting and witness accounts indicate some individuals and groups engaged in efforts to gather information about the layout of the U.S. Capitol, as well as the House and Senate office buildings, in advance of January 6, 2021,” they added.

Lol.  Google - layout of the U.S. capitol building.  You won't need a tour.

UNLESS say you want info on " from what ive seen, patrols usually pass here at such and such interval, but not after such and such o'clock"

Nope, sorry.  Those tours aren't an opportunity for hours long surveillance.

I think a rerun of Friends might get better ratings than the J6 committee gets in primetime.

FBI arrests Michigan gubernatorial candidate on charges related to involvement in January 6 riot

Quote
A GOP Michigan gubernatorial candidate, Ryan Kelley, was arrested Thursday on misdemeanor charges related to his involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, according to the Justice Department.

"Ryan Kelley, 40, of Allendale, Michigan, was arrested this morning on misdemeanor charges stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol breach. He was arrested in Allendale. Mr. Kelley is to make his initial appearance this afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan," said Bill Miller, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's office in the District of Columbia.

The Detroit FBI field office confirmed Kelley's arrest and said his home was searched on Thursday morning.

I think a rerun of Friends might get better ratings than the J6 committee gets in primetime.

Last night was watched by 20 million Americans, which beats the original airing of most episodes of Friends and easily beats the number of *weekly* viewers it had in syndication.

Okay but ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, FOX and the other networks who aired it combined certainly have more than 20 million viewers during the hearing hours.

What do you think happens to people with arrest warrants even for misdemeanors?

They don't have the FBI looking like this on the way in the front door.

The stunt man Trump stuff was some of the most entertaining hearsay stuff ever. Of course her entire testimony was mostly hearsay.
