Of course not.  Only parents of high school students are invited.  If anybody should attend my parent teacher conference, it is me because since I am well over the age of 18, I am responsible for myself.  Mom and Dad have no responsibility over me.  Plus, since I am paying for this all myself, they really have no say except encouragement to go.

After discussion in the Cave, with a variety of opinions, but the majority favoring deletion, I have decided to be a moderate hero, and delete this thread because its title was too provocative (also the approach favored by one of the Mods other than myself). This is a difficult and grey area. If you want to put up a poll involving personal sexual activity, it is better to put it on the FC Board, and Bowdlerize the title. If Dave Leips ever weighs in on this issue, that may change things. But he probably won't.

And thanks for the efforts in digging up some of my posts. I don't consider such elliptical texts beyond the pale, but if the Mods think I am out of line, I will cease and desist. I tend to doubt that will be the case. I choose my words carefully I think. That is what one needs to do when flying rather close to the sun to avoid meltdown.

Really. Because if I had lied and said I did have black friends, ergo, I'm not a racist, then you would probably have said something like 'o rly' or 'lol no'. So, I felt I avoided that trap pretty well.

Whether or not someone has black friends is one of the worst indicators of how racist or non-racist a person is.

I think it would be quite hard for me to make black friends since I don't know enough black people well enough to do so. This may be hard for you to grasp, for rural Britainshire doesn't contain very many black people. Come to think of it, I do have a friend who is Jewish, so is that enough to clear me of charges of racism? (sarcasm)
