I guess these three states are Southern now? Not denying that the South is more obese then the North or the west but to say only one region of the country "is embarrassing" the country is ridiculous.

Umm that's not what I said at all and you're taking it way out of proportion. The reason I said Southerners was because they are known for being the most obese region in the country and NOT the only. From this map you can see that there's not one Southern state with an obesity rate below 25%, but granted, are a number of western and even a few northern states that are the same way. The point is, the South is to blame for the high obesity rate primarily while other regions of the country are largely secondary.
