Opinion of Turkey?

HC built on multiple genocides and ethnic cleansing which they keep denying, still has a terrible human rights record and tolerates plenty of ultranationalist and fascist groups, oppresses the Kurds and other minorities and state controlled Islam. Terrible foreign policy with their involvement in the Syrian civil war being particularly evil. Occupies nearly half of Cyprus illegally, keeps violating Greek maritime territory and air space, and tries to control, intimidate and manipulate the Turkish diaspora. Backwards and reactionary social norms in most of the country.

On the plus side: good food, rich archeological history, beautiful old buildings and the Alevis (especially the more semi-pagan ones) and secular Kurds are FFs.
