Good thing I'm not doing a drinking game for the CNN coverage. Not even 10 minutes and I'd be drunk already from the amount of times they've mentioned "They go low, we go high"

I'd rather hear from Newsom anyday over Cuomo. East Coast Bias!!! Tongue

EDIT: Apparently, he'll be on the night Biden speaks. Nice!

I'm liking how they seem to be including 'regular folks' from every state. Yeah they seem to be making sure to include someone from Michigan or Wisconsin every 5 minutes, but gives it more of a national feel.

And on that note, Michigan Gov. Whitmer!

Damn, that was 3 years ago.

I really hope Doug Jones becomes our next Attorney General. I don't want his political career to end already

Can we please not derail this into the 500th "Moderate Leftists vs Far Leftists" thread of the year? Or give more attention to this monolithic "Red Rose Twitter" that Atlas loves to give a giant spotlight to?

Democratic unity!

Can everyone get off their soapbox and stop talking about the AOC/Kasich "feud"? No one here gives a sh*t and I'm enjoying this thread much more without it

Is that a shirt-tag behind Bernie or is he trying to hide his COVID pony tail?

Amy bringing up Home Alone 2 was excellent, I lol'ed.

Personally, I find more mockery in his Little Rascals cameo

Very refreshing to hear Bernie talk positively about Biden and not just negatively about Trump. An unironic well done from me.

It's pretty obvious that he likes Biden on a personal level.

Makes me sad that there'll be no campaign rallies this year. I think he would've helped Joe a lot by campaigning for him on college campuses

I enjoy this thread a lot more when we don't bring out the spotlight and ignore "Rose Twitter" and the 0.3% of Bernie supporters.

Especially when the screencaps are making this thread bigger than it needs to be

I will say, the last 20-30 minutes of this convention have been fantastic. Great job putting Bernie & Michelle as the final 2 speakers. I know folks are begging for the pomp & circumstance, but this feels much more captivating & personal.

I can see record donations this week based solely on the format. All that's missing is a phone number and a wall of celebrities accepting donations!

Look closely and you'll see that her necklace spells out "Vote".

I really hope her or the DNC sells one. I'd like one in bracelet form

Very nice! I hope I won't be too sad to see how he is physically.

Hey look, less than an hour before Night 2!

Perhaps we can shove the daily Bernie relitigation aside for 120 minutes.

With all due respect, have either of you seen the senior Senator of Arizona?

Anyone notice that on the California sign, it was the California State flag and not the US flag? That's somewhat amusing...

I'd argue that Californian residents at the moment identify as Californians more than Americans

Like in 2016, I kinda chuckle at the rollcall inflections.

This video is good. We finally get a policy-related one instead of a "Trump can't lead" or "Joe's a good guy" one

Imagine watching Joe having these meaningful, specific conversations and coming away and saying "deMentiA"?

"It's all prerecorded! Trump is gonna show him as the senile fool he is in a LIVE setting!"

JESUS ING CHRIST OF ALL THE ING DEMOCRATS IN MY STATE YOU PICK THE ER WHO ENDORSED THE REPUBLICAN IN OUR ING SECRETARY OF STATE RACE

I'm done. I'm ****ing done.

You care way too much about someone who appeared on screen for 10 seconds.

Nah. Traitors don't deserve a platform.

How are they traitors?

Very well then. Allow me to explain it, more calmly.

Again - John Lynch literally endorsed the de facto Republican candidate for Secretary of State.

It's a very strange situation. Although Gardner was nominally a Democrat, the NHDP actively endorsed another candidate because he had endorsed Trump/Kobach's sham fraud commission. Because he was largely seen as a nonpartisan figure (and more importantly, doing Trump's bidding), the NHGOP decided to nominate him anyway. There were a few crossovers, the most prominent of which being John Lynch.

Gardner won the election by 4 votes. You can understand why I'm pissed off, no?

We get it, you don't like him. No one cares
