This very well could be both Jimmy's and Bill's last DNC speech

Perez showing his Wisconsin ties. With the video looking out of sync I can't stop thinking he'd be an amazing animated voice actor.

Jimmy must not be doing very well

Speech was very sad for many reasons

I will miss him a lot

A man with genuine integrity. If Reagan hadn't been an arse and devolved the country, then the US would be well on the way to fullt decarbonising its energy system.

Jimmy Carter will be the first human being to live to 150, and I won't let anyone tell me otherwise

I know the Roll Call isn’t exciting political theater in the same way these big keynote speeches are, but something about it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"You know what Donald Trump will do with four more years: blame, bully, and belittle. And you know what Joe Biden will do: build back better."

Clinton's best line.

Can't help but think about how amazing it is that AOC's giving a speech at the DNC; such an improbable path from ousting a longtime incumbent AND being a democratic socialist. She's a political superstar and the future of the party.

Kinda disappointed in the Bill Clinton speech.  I was hoping to see a classic Clinton stemwinder where he systematically dismantles Turmp in a way a 5-year-old could understand.  But I guess this just isn't the right setting for that.

AOC was fine.

AOC is a bit too far-left for me, but she's clearly a wonderful, empathetic person and a team-player. I like her.

With all due respect, have you seen the vice presidential nominee?
