It's almost 3:30 and Trump is leading in every uncalled state other than Nevada.

CALL THE DAMN ELECTION ALREADY

Rack off mate. I'm sitting in the mental ward of my hospital because I suffered a mental collapse yesterday.

"please have all facts and evidence"

Who needs facts when your last name is Trump?

This thread explains pretty well why Trump probably can’t win AZ:

I'm still nervous. Isn't he tracking almost exactly on what he needs to win it?

Not good enough. If I'm not mistaken a lot of the remaining ballots are from Gallego's district (i.e. more Dem than Maricopa). Trump probably wants to be overperforming in Maricopa to make room for those ballots being more disappointing.

He needs 57% of the remaining vote and he seems to be tracking on or ahead of that.

If you were Stacey Abrams, would you rather get a cabinet appointment or run for Governor of Georgia in 2022?

Make her DNC Chair now.

Trump, November 3rd: I am inevitable

Biden, November 6th: And I . . . am . . . Scranton Joe.

Georgia SoS has just confirmed there will definitely be a recount, but that's a little irrelevant with Pennsylvania likely done.

LOL at all the love for McCain. Dems are now the party of Reagan/Bush.

Indeed.  The first line in Mark Kelly's election night speech was that he'd be a senator "like John McCain."

Is that what Democrats want in 2020, lol?  I mean, I guess it may be the best you can get in Arizona, but it certainly doesn't sound like Kelly will be a reliable vote for Schumer on big issues.

The DINOs in the Senate will be Manchin, Sinema and Kelly

As we saw with the Barrett confirmation, even Manchin has his breaking point.

Side note, I definitely do not agree with McCain on everything, and think his desire to constatnly bomb the Middle East was incredibly disturbing, but at the same time, we can also point out his work with Russ Feingold on campaign finance reform and his opposition to Citizens United. Oh, and then there was his unyielding hatred of torture.

Furthermore, unlike most Republicans who want endless war, McCain has actually BEEN to war.

Okay, now's as good a time as any.

I apologise for my dooming earlier completely. In high-stress situations, I tend to devolve into instantly believing the worst-case scenario is a certainty. For those unfamiliar, this is called catastrophising. It's something I am trying to work on. As of a few hours ago, I have been discharged from hospital and am back home in my own bed.

6000 vote glitch in Mich. Could be definite ballot harvesting going on. Dem turnout was way higher cause of mail voting.

Margin in Michigan is 150,000+

There's a vanishingly small chance that the Supreme Court even takes any of the "cases" the Trump campaign is filing, much less rules in his favor in all of them.

Okay, that makes me more comfortable.

I just don't trust that the Supreme Court is actually an impartial body anymore.

Friendly reminder that the electoral college is still the dumbest system around for electing a President.

You speak facts. Weird how so many Americans care more about corn than people.

California shouldn't dictate to the other 49 states who gets to be president.

The population of New York and California combined is 60 million, give or take. The population of the US is around 330 million.

That equals out to less than 20% of the total population, and nowhere near all of them are going to uniformly vote for one candidate.

Source: NYTimes Swing Map

Oh look, it’s East River vs West River in South Dakota! Any South Dakota posters know why East River swung towards Trump, while West River swung towards Biden?

Hasn't this been happening in the primaries (at least for the Dems) as well, where east and west vote differently?

I know it happened in 2016 on the Dem side. West River went to Sanders and East River went to Clinton.

This is true. Hillary Clinton seems to have some bizzare, unreplicable appeal in East River South Dakota. She did quite well in both primaries despite doing poorly in similar states and it trended much less against her in the general than North Dakota, Iowa, and rural Minnesota.

. . . How the hell does that work?

Seriously, i can't figure that one out.
