Jackson, Wyoming1
socially-distanced event, livestreamed on WY Labor Website

My friends, it is a high personal honor and privilege to be with you all in my favorite city in my favorite state: my home, Jackson, to be accompanied by my friend, your governor, Wynona Thomas.

Let's all give her a big round of applause for being with us today to kick off her reelection campaign, to capitalize on all the progress made since last year with a phenomenal legislature.

True to our word, Wyoming Labor has kept your interests at heart. We've made great strides in making COVID-19 vaccines universal and accessible to all corners of the state, no matter how sparsely populated. From Nyman to Denver to Cheyenne, Labor has distributed these to all cities big and small, and cooperated with reservations to serve our Native people.

We have diversified our state economy so that it is not dependent solely on non-renewables, and put the state on track to transitioning to a green economy both through investments in innovation and retraining. Blue collar unions, including those that work with non-renewable energy such as fossil fuels, have endorsed Labor's energy plans, including our plans to retrain workers and transition them to jobs that let them utilize the same technical skills they acquired working on the coal fields.

It's great rural states like Wyoming, like Montana, like North Dakota, like South Dakota, and throughout Frémont, that can attest to Labor's record of promoting tech innovation and green energy to bring new jobs to economies centered around one or a few select industries. Young people will only stay if we promise them opportunity, and the freedom to pursue a livelihood here at home.

Economies that keep families together, particularly those in the "sandwich generation", who carry the weight of breadwinners, parents, and caretakers for their aging parents.

The great state of Iowa recently elected a new government that is going to take its state in a vastly new direction than the Federalists did, as voters recognized what was at stake in that election and understood which party had their interests at heart.

Labor has proven itself time and time again in Frémont. We expanded job opportunities. We improved infrastructure and public transportation, which people are taking advantage of as our way of life begins moving back to the pre-pandemic normal. We protected your freedom of speech and right to bear arms. We've delivered on responsible sex education as part of our effort to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and abortions.

I am so proud to be a Frémonter, and I am proud to live in a state where communities aid and depend on each other in a state where self-reliance is not only a staple, but often a necessity for survival on such rugged terrain and vast landscapes.

I'm calling on you, Wyoming! Reelecting Wynona Thomas and send her back to Cheyenne with a heavy mandate in the legislature!

Thank you, Jackson! I look very much forward to seeing you all again soon!

Salt Lake City, Utah1
socially-distanced event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Hello, Salt Lake City!

I cannot express how fortunate I am to be here to speak with you all today at the State Capitol alongside my cousin, your governor of this great state, Eric Udall!!

I would tell you all that, as someone who's known Eric from such a young age, I can very much attest to his work ethic and leadership. From president of his high school graduating class to one who graduated at the top of his class at Brigham Young, Eric has always had that can-do attitude that defines great leadership. And since late last year, the people of Utah have seen the values that are commonly instilled by their families reflected in their governor and leadership here at the Capitol.

No doubt that family plays such a valued role in public life here in Utah. It's a trait we're used to seeing that spreads from the Rockies all the way to the Midwest, but the people of Utah are bound by a unique history and a particularly strong sense of community. Utah has sometimes been called Atlasia's last vestige of the 1950's, in no small part because church attendance and civic engagement are still highly valued.

Utah has been one of the most welcoming states to refugees and immigrants, because in those people, many Utahns see their ancestors who worked so hard to flee religious persecution and build this great state. It is simply a testament to the state's culture that no human being be left behind, regardless of where they're from or what they believe.

And in what might be the most trying time of our nation's history, Utahns continue to demonstrate their devotion to their family, state, and community. I would be remiss to ignore the role of the LDS Church in particular, and President Russell Nelson's efforts to coordinate distribution of mutual humanitarian aid throughout the state.

And now as we begin to look forward and return to pre-pandemic normalcy, we look at what opportunities lie ahead. Utah is blessed with its scenic routes and parks, its canyons and mountains, its ski resorts here up north, and what many consider to be the crown jewel of the state, the Great Salt Lake.

All these things make Utah to be one of the top tourist destinations in the country, regardless of season. And now that the state is rapidly reopening, the upcoming summer will bring a new influx of jobs in the hospitality and parks sector that were lost in the pandemic.

Eric was thrilled when I, as your senator, introduced legislation to revive the Civilian Conservation Corps, as a way of jump-starting our economy by providing thousands of living wage jobs and keeping our environment clean and safe. Particularly in Frémont, where forest fires are becoming ever-more common due to climate change, it is incumbent upon us to elect stewards of our public lands.

When private industry used the pandemic to tempt the government here and in Denver to lease our parks for development, your Labor executives and legislators both stepped up and said no, Utah is not for sale. And so long as a robust Labor government continues to work for the people in the Capitol behind me, the people of this great state have an ally.

Utah will remain one of the best states in the country to raise a family and start a business. Our neighborhoods will remain safe. Schools will continue to be fully funded and educate model citizens. Immigrants who follow the law and contribute to society will always be welcome. Religious liberty will always be defended.

You can count on seeing me again very soon, Utah. And now I'm going to step aside and hand the mic over to my cousin, Governor Eric Udall!

Billings, Montana
socially-distanced event, livestreamed on MT Labor Website

Hello, Billings! It's great to have the opportunity to visit this state, and to campaign with so many candidates for legislature in addition to helping reelect Governor Fudrucker. I truly am biased when it comes to the Mountain West, and I feel like these states have forged an identity of their own in this great country of ours.

There is a certain neighborly atmosphere in so many of our towns and cities that can only be outmatched by the Midwest. And indeed, it is appropriate that we share territory with our nation's bread basket, extending all the way to Iowa and Minnesota.

It is also essential to our economy. Family farms took heavy hits in this pandemic and many were forced to shut down. We also learned about the reprehensible health and safety violations in a South Dakota meat plant.

In an environment where family farms are forced to close while factory farms get away with murder and literal animal abuse. To our farmers and small business people in agriculture, I will say that you know you could never afford to pay for these OSHA violations and remain in business. Your own water quality is at the mercy of corporations and factory farms which pollute our lakes.

Alas, the Big Ag lobby in Helena is very powerful, and without a united government, these corporations cannot be put in check.

Labor is, and has always been, the party of small farmers and ranchers.

We extended subsidies in the 2019 farm bill by investing more than $10 million in subsidies to small farmers.

We look after our rural communities and invest in them so that they may be viable in an industrialized nation.

We don't give special breaks to Big Ag, and we resist any attempt to deregulate or lax our health and safety standards, or only to selectively prosecute small farmers while shielding the big players who are guilty of animal abuse, exploitation, and environmental destruction,.

Small farmers have a partner in Governor Fudrucker, and we need to return him to the capitol with a firm mandate against this lobbying. Dr. Anthony Hall, who is going to be speaking next, will explain Labor's plan against corruption and corporate favoritism. He is currently running in the Senate against one of the most outspoken supporters of Big Ag.

Next to him is Nancy Briggs, a local librarian who grew up in a farming household and is currently running to be your next representative in the House.

Before I pass the mic over to Dr. Hall, I want to once again thank the great people of Montana for affording me the opportunity to speak to you all today. Dave bless you, Billings. Dave bless Montana.

Lubbock, Texas
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Thank you, Mr. Vice President, for that kind introduction.

Folks, when Labor came to power in Austin, we had inherited a mess created by two decades of conservative leadership. Some Federalists in Dallas initially tried to blame frozen solar panels and wind turbines, but we now know that inadequetaly witnerized natural gas equipment was the culprit. Sadly, past administrations isolated the state's power grid from the two major national grids and deregulated the energy sector, leaving Texas in the hands of ERCOT.

Labor policies didn't create this mess, but the partisan bickering in Austin all to give competing parties a step-up in Federalist efforts to win back the state was wrong. Where your governor offered a solution in weatherizing our natural gas infrastructure, which provides just over half of the power in this state, the Federalists and the opposition wanted an issue they could run on.

Now property damage costs have reached $200 billion and the one hundred and eleven lives that were lost as a result of this preventable disaster will never seek the justice they deserve.

We need to send a message to Austin that partisan obstructionism comes with a price, as does refusal to abandon this ideology of unfettered markets and privatization of essential services.

Soon, after Governor Bryant gives his speech, you will hear from our two candidates for legislature: Dan White, candidate for State Senate and the Governor's chief advisor for all matters pertaining to energy, and Sally Kim, a technician and Lubbock resident.

A united Austin will give the state a government that fulfills its promises and has policies, not rhetoric or fuel for an issue to exploit in the next election.

Thank you, Lubbock, and Dave bless you! I'd now like to introduce you all to your leader, your fighter in Austin, Governor Ramsey Bryant!

Houston, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Howdy, Houston! I told you I'd be back and I am, and with me I have a very good candidate to challenge the incumbent Federalist senator. You know her as the woman who came within inches of winning the Houston mayoral race not many months ago: my friend, Kate Sandlin.

Challenging the incumbent Federalist House member is Marco Chuy, a sitting Houston city council member.

Now before I say anything else, I would like to thank the Liberal Party for endorsing Governor Bryant. The Liberals have certainly been more willing to work with our party on these issues than the immovable Federalist Party, and Labor can only deliver to the people when Labor is partnered with allies who want to achieve a common goal. Even the Democratic Alliance has tried forging a compromise with a group of ten members of the House.

But the Federalist Party's hardline resistance to these bipartisan and tripartisan initiatives have strangled any progress to be made under a progressive, but accommodating, governor.

The tragedy that we saw last February exposed the results of two decades of Reaganomics, of austerity, of deregulation, of privatization.

Austin needs a mandate. The Governor's plan will invest in weatherizing natural gas infrastructure and hold companies accountable for underwriting how much environmental damage their industry is causing.

Let me say that again: Governor Bryant's plan will hold companies accountable for underwriting how much they are polluting. Labor understands that the lion's share of the environmental damage can be traced to these wealthy multinational corporations, not the common working man or woman.

This is a win-win plan for the middle-class, the working-class, and those living on government assistance. We don't want to kill energy jobs to boost renewable energy, but our transition to the green economy will respect the interests of all involved, including miners and workers in the fracking industry, whom we support unionization for.

We also want to further diversify Texas's energy economy by investing in nuclear power, a policy that many conservatives support. And we know it's possible here in Texas, because the same was very recently said for shut down coal plants as potential nuclear reactors. No doubt that coal, while out of competition for natural gas, has a history in the state of Texas. And this is where we can study investments in nuclear energy right here in the state of Texas.

But we still need to update our power grid, reverse deregulation, and promptly re-enter the two national grids. We need to send that mandate to Austin by reelecting our governor and electing model citizens who will make exceptional legislators.

Thanks for having me today, Houston. And now I am pleased to once again introduce you to Kate Sandlin, the next Senator from the 4th Houston-based district.

San Antonio, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Hello, San Antonio!

I'm continuing my tour with Governor Bryant to talk to people about our priorities for the next session. People overwhelmingly agree that the next legislative session must address ERCOT reform. One state senator reported stories of people in their 80's and 90's being left without power in the state as it was crippled by the ice storm that paralyzed the state.

Texans ultimately want the parties to work together, but the Federalists have done all in their power to block Governor Bryant's proposed reforms. This is why Texans have a higher view of their governor than they do of the legislature in Austin, and who can blame them? The lives of people are at stake, and the opposition would rather have an issue to talk about than a solution that helps the average Texan.

And while Labor takes responsibility for disasters that happen on our watch, we cannot move to reverse deregulation and privatization alone. And the minority of people in other parties who consistently join the Federalists to block us at every opportunity should be called home all the same. That is why the Liberal Party endorsed us. They understand what's at stake in this election, and although some in the Federalist Party might like to brand themselves as "the party of the South", they simply do not understand Texas. They certainly don't want to help us when the chips are down.

Tonight I have with me a public defender who specializes in criminal justice reform, Christian Travers, and a former White House aide whom I had the pleasure of getting to know during my brief time in the White House, Ms. Gabriella Martinez. They are running for the state Senate and House respectively against two Federalist incumbents.

We have yet to be introduced to the Federalist's candidate for governor here, but reelecting Ramsey Bryant will not be enough. We need a great showing on both sides of the ballot. And Texans deserve an explanation from Federalists on why they have chosen to play politics at a time when the most vulnerable have their lives at stake.

I am happy to report that, mostly through executive action, Governor Bryant has expedited the delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations for the people of his state. It is no doubt essential that the second biggest state in the country have an infrastructure that vaccinates people from our seniors to our essential workers to all adults. This is someone you want fighting for you in Austin: someone who will never quit for the sake of entertaining partisan games and keeping our state divided.

Thank you, San Antonio! Get vaccinated, wear masks when necessary, continue washing your hands and staying home when you get sick, and soon we will have transitioned back to the old normal.

Remember this, folks: when you get vaccinated, you get to do more things!

Tonight I'm letting my good friend, Ms. Martinez, speak to you tonight directly followed by Mr. Travers.

Thank you, San Antonio!

Fort Worth, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Hello, Fort Worth!

Do we reward parties because they have branded themselves as regional parties, because they frequently express that not having victory means they are being morally wronged, as we've heard time and time again from Federalist leadership, not only in the presidential or midterm elections, but even in the NPC elections?

No. No, we do not.

You all proved that to this country in an upset. And Federalists can only sink further with the people of Texas if they make this election a referendum on Governor Bryant, whom polls show the public supports despite strong disapproval for the partisan dysfunction in Austin. And a partisan, dysfunctional government in Austin is the only avenue Federalists have to not let the state "slip up" from them again.

We still know little about the Federalist's candidate for governor, their priorities, even their name. We know there's still been no commitment to reforming ERCOT or a reconnection of the state to the two national power grids.

Texans are entitled to know where this candidate stands, and they must address the elephant in the room. The continued obstruction. The insistence on an issue, not a solution.

Labor has been stern in our warnings for a Texas that lacks in robust environmental policies, that has laxed standards for people's health and safety, that cannot bring itself to admit that better regulation of our fracking infrastructure would have prevented this disaster the entire time.

I can promise this to the people of Fort Worth: Labor is pro-energy, and we want to become global leaders in energy by diversifying our economy.

I am a longtime believer that an effective environmental policy is simply not realistic without any investments in nuclear power, and we have the means to convert those abandoned coal plants in our state into mini-micro reactors.

When Labor says that we need to follow the science, we mean that. That's why we, by and large, acknowledge nuclear energy's benefits as consistent with what the scientific community has been telling us.

We will work with any party to expand nuclear, but the Federalists didn't lift a finger to help the people of their state. In exchange, they have an issue to run on this month.

But we've still heard no explanation for the extreme partisan tricks and obstruction in Austin. We cannot trust a party that only looks forward to the next election rather than focus on the solutions we need now, or in our case, several months yesterday.

Main street may be feeling left behind, but a governor and a hostile mixed legislature, where conservatives are doing all they can to bring this administration down, have been a bad deal for Texas. Federalist obstruction has been a bad deal for Texas. And their energy policy simply fails to prescribe solutions to address the initial cause of the energy crisis.

Remember that when you cast your ballot this month. Vote to fix Austin so that an undivided government can deliver on its promise to the people.

Thank you, Fort Worth! So much is at stake here. I'd like you to meet your candidates, Texas Christian University professor, Douglas Clay, who is running for State House, and your Mayor, David Schroeder, who is running for State Senate!

Houston, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Howdy again, Houston! It's so great to be here once again with you all alongside Kate Sandlin, your candidate for the 9th Senate District as well as your next member from the 32nd House District, Marshall Childers.

We all remember the disappointment we felt, that all of us and Kate felt, when she came within a point of winning the mayor's race and delivering on her ambitious agenda to make Houston a better, safer, and more environmentally friendly city to raise a family and find good jobs.

And now we are still seeing high water locations on our city's roads and surrounding areas. This is another essential issue that the next legislative session must address, and would have had the latter half of the session not been dominated by our emergency measures to rush aid, food, and safety to Texans across the state.

We need to weatherize our grid. We need stronger oversight and more public control. And we need to act and hold the appropriate individuals at ERCOT accountable for their criminal negligence.

And we need help from both Austin and Nashville to help our flood-prone areas, like here in Houston.

The Federalist candidate was widely unknown, so unknown that most voters didn't even know her name, but the Federalists just barely won enough second preferences to surpass Kate Sandlin, and as a result, Mayor Ferrara entered office with no mandate and, and definitely no plan.

My friends, the more Houston, and the rest of Texas, grows, the more essential it becomes to modernize our infrastructure and to literally rejoin the rest of the nation in the 21st century, to reincorporate our power grid into the national one with the aid of neighboring state governments, and the federal government. And with the rise of climate change, Houston needs leaders who will fight for better flood control and mitigation of damage to our homes, businesses, and schools.

Houston, vote Labor up and down the ballot. Vote for the party that does more than talk about serious change. Vote for the party that always aims for a solution, rather than an issue to exploit.

I know you can do it, Houston, and I'm confident that you have seen the contrast between the urgent actions of the Governor versus the partisan bickering of the legislature. Reelect Governor Bryant and elect Kate Sandlin to Sandlin, the woman who knows you best, in this month's election. And for House, don't forget to vote for Marshall Childers, an electrician and former Peace Corps volunteer for the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.

El Paso, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

ˇHola mi amigos! Thank you, El Paso!

It's good to be back in my favorite city in the State of Texas as I continue my tour through every corner of the state. When I first came to the city, small business owners crumbled under the anxiety of losing their livelihoods, and all they had worked for, because of the pandemic.

And El Paso, given the great diversity of the city, has no shortage of Latino-owned business. A great deal of these businesses are owned by first- or second-generation immigrants. And so many businesses either closed or came to the brink of closing due to lack of an adequate pandemic plan on any level of government.

I won't mince words when I say that this pandemic flooded our states under Labor leadership in Nyman, and it is thanks to the urgency of the Labor government to pass multiple stimulus packages and temporary UBI to assuage people in times of such great uncertainty. So that people can pay their bills, and stay in their homes without fear of eviction. We passed a renewed public works program which pays living wages to those unable to find employment at this time.

And it is because of those measures that most of those small businesses have been able to subsist, and will soon be entering this summer with millions vaccinated, restrictions eased, businesses reopening their doors, and the beginning of a real recovery after so many lives were lost to this virus and our very way of life changed drastically.

I am here to tell you, the people of El Paso, that the jobs are coming back. But just as importantly, a general return to normalcy is on the horizon. The state will continue to maintain its recovery and welcome students back into their schools this fall, all across the state.

Labor makes no apology for its hard work fighting for you. For minority-owned businesses. For working-class people of all races. But the Latino community has a friend in Labor, and while we can spend all day going over the improvements that Labor has made to our public health system and the economic recovery, I want the people to know that Labor doesn't pander.

Labor delivers. No matter the issue.

I would now like to introduce you to El Paso City Council Member, Vicente Curbelo, who is running for statehouse this month.

Thank you, El Paso! Dave bless you, and Dave bless the great State of Texas!

Provo, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Utah, it is so great to be here with you again campaigning alongside my cousin, better known as your governor, Eric Udall.

I want to talk about an issue that has been on everyone's minds, especially as we help to build back our country, state by state, to a pre-pandemic normal. But the main focus of my speech to you all this morning will be that four-letter word: jobs.

Provo is a testament to the success of policies in Denver and in Salt Lake City which have created hundreds of thousands of new jobs in this state, particularly here in Provo and in surrounding cities, thanks to dozens of new tech startups. No doubt, the 'Silicon Slopes' has been recognized as a growing force in the tech industry. And Labor recognizes the need for a business-friendly environment in order for smaller and newer players in the tech industry to get fair shot here in Utah.

Another unique aspect of Utah has been its experience with existing trade deals. Generally, I am one who considers myself a free trader. I believe in the general idea that the freedom of movement of goods has benefited countries, and that freedom of movement is what discourages war and allows for the creation of wealth that benefits the working-class.

While I am unwilling to dismiss renegotiation of some trade deals for the states and areas of this country where the rising tide of free trade has decidedly not lifted all boats, Utah is one state where trade partnerships have been to the mutual benefit of both countries. Utah's partnership with Mexico, just to use an example, will boost our state's economy the more we export, and with Utah as a trading partner, that same relationship might point the way toward economic prosperity in Mexico as well.

That is the way free trade ought to work. And while trade practices with countries like China ought to be reformed, the Utah-Mexico partnership has proved to be an excellent experiment as it operates on a small scale, and is therefore more responsive to the individual needs of the players involved.

At the same time, under the leadership of Governor Udall, we have used our energy dollars from Nyman and Denver to ensure that our trade practices are environmentally friendly. But we want more than that. We want Utah, with its growing tech industry, to become the next world leader in innovation and combating climate change. Under Governor Udall, all those environmental regulations put in place by the legislature will be enforced.

Make no mistake about it: Eric Udall is the jobs governor.

Thank you, Provo! I'll pass the mic on to Mayor Windsor and Labor's candidate for State Senate, and then we'll have the Governor make his finishing remarks.

Whitefish, Montana1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on MT Labor website

Good morning and a fine howdy to the people of WHITEFISH!

You know, it's such a honor to be here alongside one of the hardest working governors I've come to know. But when Budd first ran last year, I had not a doubt in my mind that this was a man who was ready to work for Montana.

And I must say, I love coming to small towns and cities like Whitefish with guys like Budd. The opposition in Helena has cynically painted the Governor as a man lacking the temperament to hold the office that he does. But we all know this is a desperate attempt to shield from the real accomplishments of the Fudrucker administration, from environmental protection to job growth to protection of civil liberties and the Bill of Rights - every last word of it.

That's right, Montana. Governor Fudrucker and Labor leadership is dedicated to protecting your right to free speech and your right to bear arms. These rights we celebrate, particularly the right to pursue success and happiness in the greatest country on earth, are Labor values.

We are also a small, albeit rapidly growing, state. And with that comes the common trust of the people of Montana. You know that in Montana it is not uncommon to walk into an establishment or a walk in the park and notice multiple people armed. And yet, Montana has coordinated a strategy to track illegally sold guns and crack down on violent criminals who attempt to obtain them.

That was not a partisan initiative. And it showed that even in a state like Montana, where gun rights are held near and dear, real, constructive, consensus-based reform is possible to keep the guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens and no one else.

It's as simple as this: we are FOR the law-abiding gun owners of this state against those who disobey the law, who ignore the law, who do not use guns for sport or for hunting or for safety, but for terrorizing neighborhoods and robbing defenseless people.

No doubt, Budd Fudrucker has been an effective governor who understands Montana. He understands the working man. And while he may not be a polished politician, Budd's election was a victory for the common people. For the people who want a governor that tells them how it is. For a governor who is decisive. For a governor who's not politically correct.

And we want to send him back to Helena with a fully unified government in the legislator. We have a majority in the House, yet we are inches away from claiming full control of the Montana State Senate.

This is where your mayor, Steve Crawford, comes in. He's running for State Senate to claim the chamber for the people, so that Governor Fudrucker might build on his achievements and work with a more efficient legislature that shares the same priorities and values of the working men and women throughout Montana.

Dave bless you, Whitefish! This will not be my last stop, but I'm urging you all to vote Labor up and down the ballot. Otherwise you guys are gonna force me to come back in June and knock some sense back into ya's!

And now, ladies and gentlemen, your Governor of the great State of Montana, Budd Fudrucker!

Dallas, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Folks,

We are now officially in the second week of the campaign season, and still the Federalists have yet to name a candidate for governor and introduce them as someone who will be a citizen-governor with a record of getting things done.

While I respect my friends in the Federalist Party, they have simply do not know the people of the largest state the South; that is, the South, the party which Federalist and conservative politicians have had a stranglehold on for the better part of the last two decades.

I believe that Labor does understand the average Texan better than the Federalists, simply because so many Labor surrogates, particularly the Vice President and myself, have been visiting all the major population areas of Texas and then some. And we continue to reach out to rural voters. Texas Labor is taking no district or office for granted, and we strive to earn every vote we get. Rural voters must be a part of that coalition, as well as Latino Atlasians, Black Atlasians, LGBT Atlasians, young Atlasians - the people whom the Reverend Jesse Jackson once called the "Rainbow Coalition".

That is Labor's coalition in Texas, and we seek nothing less than to expand. Texas has had an honest, hardworking governor who swore an oath to do what is in the best interest of Texas, irrespective of whether a past political party or ideology knocked the state on the wrong path.

Alas, sans a candidate with a record and comprehensive plan for Texas, the Federalists have themselves running the "Man with No Name", as some of our Spaghetti Western enthusiasts would recognize.

One could even say it's like arguing with a chair!

But, on a serious note, Texas needs unified leadership in Austin and Texans deserve to know who runs their government. Governor Bryant has been one of the most transparent governors in the country, and he led this state through the power crisis through all means necessary.

But, to harken back to our coalition: when the working class unites together as Texans, when the poor and disenfranchised have a hand up, we cannot lose. And it is us who will work each day to ensure that Texas remains a great state to start a business, to raise a family, to go to work each day with the expectation that the streets will be clean of both troublemakers and rogue police officers.

A Labor-run Texas is a Texas of stability, and without Federalist obstruction we will complete what we set out to do in our first campaign.

Current polls show that Goveror Bryant is a modest favorite for reelection. But remember, when you cast your ballot this month, that he needs more than just your vote - he needs a vote for change in Austin. A change from a gridlocked Austin, to a progressive Austin. To a state that sets the right example in the traditionally conservative South.

The future of the state is in your hands, Dallas. When you vote, vote for the party that is actively trying to roll back the deregulations and privatizations that the opposition has managed to block.

This is a commonsense plan that will benefit all of Texas. All of Texas.

And I must confess that it was tempting for some of us to go to Cancún while the damage evaporated. But we never run from our problems, and as one of my favorite Bruce Springsteen songs says: we take care of our own.

And as the late John McCain famously said: we do not run from history; we make history.

But regardless of who the Federalists nominate, they cannot match Governor Bryant's sterling record of supply food and essential services to Texans - and particularly rural Texans - during the course of the power crisis, and only have a single issue to run on that they so needed to retake power, and obstructed Labor's efforts to adequately address the issue for purely political reasons.

What we are seeing from the Federalist leaders is not real leadership; it's blunt opposition to any policy that has the Labor stamp of approval.

And it's bad for Texas.

Thank you, Dallas.

Morristown, Vermont1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on VT Labor website

Hello, Morristown!

It's great to have the opportunity to visit these small towns in New England. As someone who was born and raised in a small New England town, I love the forward-thinking culture in what on paper, if you believe what the pundits say, should be a solidly conservative state!

Now Vermont is one of the most progressive states in the country. What it needs now is a Labor governor who reflects the values of Vermonters. And Will Ashe will be that governor.

And it's small towns like Morristown that will elect Will Ashe and a strong Labor majority in both chambers of the legislature.

Today I have with me Dr. Amber Fuller, who teaches Agricultural Sciences at the University of Vermont, and local journalist Dean Jackson. They are running for Senate and House respectively, and as people who were born and raised in this town and region of Vermont, they understand the needs and values of its people.

Dr. Fuller and Mr. Jackson understand that gun rights is important to rural Vermonters. And given recent patterns, it is people in towns like Morristown who will pick the next governor and elect a new legislature. Allow me to state, unequivocally, that Vermont Labor will protect the right to keep and bear arms. And we will also strengthen and enforce already existing laws intended to protect the safety of law-abiding gun owners against people who shouldn't have them. That includes domestic abusers.

We oppose the proposed handgun ban, and we oppose bans on so-called "assault weapons", which is Nyman language that merely refers to guns with a scope and handle. These are guns that, contrary to what some argue, people do use for hunting.

This is Vermont, and this is the way of life in small towns like Morristown.

Labor is on the side of the people! The real people on Main Street, who have benefited from regional and federal Labor policies as we navigate our way through this pandemic and return to a state of normalcy. This is the time to elect a governor who knows you, a governor who will fight for you, and a friendly legislature that will support his initiatives.

My friends, it is my honor to welcome the next Governor of the great state of Vermont, Will Ashe!

St. George, Utah
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello, St. George!

Well, it's been quite a flight in the last day: El Paso to Provo to Montana to Dallas to Vermont, and now back here in Utah.

There's no doubt, in my view and based on what I've seen throughout the country, that infrastructure must be a priority. We have one of the best healthcare systems in the world thanks to Labor and Labor alone. And it's precisely because of those accomplishments that Labor is popular in Frémont.

The issue of transportation has come up in this campaign, and the truth is that contrary to what our opponents have been telling you, Labor passed legislation funding public transportation throughout the Commonwealth. The fundamental difference between Labor and the Democratic Alliance is that the latter supports centralized public transportation, which doesn't allow for any local input, whereas the Labor plan gives these grants to local communities which can cooperate and accommodate for the needs of its citizens.

And the fact of the matter is that your governor has been delivering on transportation. The people know that. That is why this administration is popular, according to recent polls. And it is your governor, Eric Udall, who's expanded public transportation in the state thanks to what Labor accomplished in Denver. We've expanded light rail here thanks to my revitalized Civilian Conservation Corps, which has brought hundreds of construction and infrastructure jobs to Utah.

It is unfortunate that the Democratic Alliance continues to misrepresent our record, or to accuse us of neglecting the states and regions when we take the lion's share of the credit for most of the great reforms passed over the last year. They were wrong to tell the people of Alaska that we did nothing to save Alaska's permanent fund, and they are wrong to tell the people of Utah that they've been left behind.

With that said, I maintain that while I have a positive relationship with most people in the DA, their campaign messages simply do not fit with reality.

Labor does not run on platitudes, it runs on results, and I make no apology for the progress we've made nationally and regionally over the last two years. It is Labor that has demonstrated its ability to effectively govern, and Denver needs a friendly ally in Salt Lake City to continue to work efficiently and build on what we've done in this great state.

And I'm not just saying that because Governor Udall's my cousin!

But he is here with us tonight to speak on his record, and his plans for the next term. Also with us are Anthony Denton, a local public defense attorney who's dedicated his career to fixing the inequalities within the justice system. He will be instrumental in ensuring that our regional reforms, including the Peaceful Streets Act, the Fremont Criminal Justice Reform Act, and the Fremont Safer Policing Act are enforced. It is because of these reforms that claims of police cruelty have dropped to record lows throughout our Commonwealth.

But these laws must be enforced, and Anthony Denton will work every day as your next State Representative to ensure proper oversight.

Tonight I am also joined by Ann Moss, a local teacher who led the call in Utah for higher wages for teachers.

There is no party better for workers' advancements and unions than Labor, and that is why unionization has steadily grown as unions are free to negotiate, whether they work in the private sector or the public sector.

She will be your fighter in the Senate. Make no mistake about it: union workers always have a friend in Labor.

And they certainly have a friend in Governor Udall.

Now before I overstay my welcome, I'm going to pass the mic on to Eric. Thank you for having me. And thank you, Utah, for demonstrating your ways of hospitality in every part of the state.

Thank you, and Dave bless!

Ogden, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

How are we doing tonight, Ogden?! Are we fired up?!

[audience cheers]

I can't hear you!

[audience cheers louder]

That's better! You know, Ogden, I entered this year with a sense of optimism. It felt like a personal accomplishment at times just to make it through 2020. But now that we have the vaccines, Labor leaders in Denver and Salt Lake City have overseen a fast and efficient distribution system. That is why we are all able to gather here today. That is why we are able to speak to larger venues, to actually sit down and talk to the people of this great state and hear their concerns, and to take our message to every corner of the state.

It is evident to me that our transition back to a state of normalcy is happening today, with students beginning to return to the classrooms. This is good for students, who learn better in classroom environments and get to see their friends more often. And it's good for parents, especially single parents like one woman I spoke to in Ogden earlier. And she was emphatic about the struggles of taking care of her 8-year-old son while working from home. Still, her job often requires her to come into the office where she works, and she's had to rely on extended family to take care of him.

This woman's story is not uncommon, and it also demonstrates the importance of family values, which are so important to the people of this state.

The Democratic Alliance complains that new schools haven't been built, just as we're finally beginning to reopen the ones we have. But no one in the right mind would prioritize building new schools at a time when conditions are dangerous and ultimately fatal to hundreds of thousands of Atlasians. Only very recently have we been able to finally start looking past the pandemic.

And that is what this campaign is about: moving past the pandemic.

Labor will continue to not only fund schools, but ensure that they are safe in a post-COVID world.

Critics say we are not doing enough, that we are not planning new schools for the state's growing population, we are not investing in infrastructure and public transportation, we are merely sitting on our hands expecting election wins.

But nothing could be further from the truth. And Utahns trust Governor Udall and Labor leadership in Salt Lake City.

Now, I understand that one of the people running DA's campaign in Utah is a self-identified "neoliberal". To which I can only ask you all, has neoliberalism ever helped the common man? Have these policies led to prosperity, or have they only enabled greed and given those not at the top of the economic ladder false hope that they, too, will eventually become millionaires and billionaires?

Make no mistake about it: neoliberalism contributed to the 2008 collapse. It caused investment banks to collapse and left John Q. Taxpayer to foot the bill! It cost us trillions to lift the economy out of that ditch and prevent a double-dip recession or even a depression, and both politicians and most economists acknowledge that the stimulus package passed in '09 wasn't big enough.

So I urge the people of Utah to be wary of those who believe that more Reaganomics is the antidote to our economic woes.

Fremont is the model example of a modern welfare state that works within the budget and pays the bills. It is because of Labor that we are able to fund these programs without the need for a sales tax or European-style VAT.

It is my belief that, thanks to Labor leadership in Nyman and in Denver, we are living in a new New Deal Era, or perhaps more accurately, the New Great Society.

With me are two people who want us to stay the course; two people who want to guarantee excellent healthcare, education, housing, and job opportunities to every Atlasian. Those people are Dwayne Gibbons, an Ogden city council member running for House, and Samuel Lopez, a member of the Udall Administration who is responsible for overseeing the new CCC, which has created hundreds of temporary infrastructure jobs in Utah while the private sector continues to recover.

Thank you for having me, Ogden! Get fired up!

Nephi, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Greetings, Nephi! What an honor it has been to come visit your city for the first time. Nephi has a population just over 6,000, but Labor wants to share our record and vision for the post-pandemic way of life with small towns and big cities alike.

As most of you know, Nephi was named after the first major figure in the Book of Mormon. There is no denying that the LDS Church has an active presence in this state. And while I come from a different religious tradition, I've certainly come to admire the LDS Church's emphasis on family values and the importance of an active community that looks after its own and welcomes those who want to contribute.

My cousin, your governor, Eric Udall, converted to the LDS faith after he graduated college. He felt a void in his life, a void which only drained him to the point of questioning life itself. But he converted to the LDS faith after he experienced the community spirit that fills the atmosphere of this great state. Some years later, he becomes Mayor of Salt Lake City, and now he leads a state with the healthiest population in the country, the second happiest population in the country, and just barely off the cuff of the ten most educated states in the country.

Utah is a great state, has always been a great state, and under Eric's leadership, will grow as a great state. It's no wonder that a whopping 57% of Utahns approve of Eric and his administration!

My message to Nephi and all Utahns is simple: don't fix what ain't broken.

Instead, let's build on the progress that's been made in Denver and in Salt Lake City. Here I have with me retired bishop, Alma Hansen, who's spent most of his life as a missionary and then as bishop of the local ward on Sheep Lane. He's running for statehouse to build on the Governor's progress in the state and to ensure that small towns have a voice in our government.

Also with me is Brigham Daniel, an active member of the Utah Air National Guard who fought with Atlasia during the Second Korean War. It was an honor for me to have the opportunity to meet Brigham and learn his story, and what he does as an active duty Lieutenant Colonel, as he was officially promoted to this year. Colonel Daniel keenly understands the struggles of active duty and non-active duty vets, and as your next state senator, veterans will always have a partner in him to ensure that those who sacrifice for their country, are properly recognized and cared for by our country.

Thank you, Nephi, and may Dave bless this great land of freedom and opportunity. Out of respect for the troops, I'm going to pass the mic on to Colonel Daniel first.

Statement regarding the reported cover-up of elderly COVID-19 deaths in Utah

I concur with Vice President OBD and First Minister Truman in their condemnation of Governor Udall and call for him to resign or be impeached, and while I realize the awkwardness in my familial ties to the Governor in this light, I solidly affirm that I had no pre-knowledge of this situation and I will cooperate with investigating authorities.

Once again, I am calling on the Governor to resign and allow Lieutenant Governor Tasha Robards to finish the remainder of his term. Failure to do so within 24 hours will force the hands of the legislative powers, whom as I understand are preparing Articles of Impeachment at this moment.

Regardless of what the Governor does, Labor will be throwing its full support behind State Representative Amanda Young. She is widely expected to be named an impeachment manager if articles pass the Utah House of Representatives, which is likely.

Logan, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Thanks for having me tonight, Logan.

I have often referred to the past two years and continuing as the New Great Society era for Atlasia. We've been the prime movers of all the major initiatives, and our government was swift in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic as it broke out.

As your senator for the Commonwealth, I played an instrumental role in the passage of the original stimulus bills, in addition to a temporary UBI, and in my last term in the Senate, a renewed Civilian Conservation Corps that is leading the country past the pandemic by creating new public works jobs to build exactly the kinds of infrastructure projects that my friend, Weatherboy, wants completed.

But he knows as well as anyone that we couldn't be having new, non-essential infrastructure projects for most of the last year and a half, when nonessential workers were forced to quarantine.

But we did build new hospitals, thanks to the Rural Health Act, and it is specifically because of that law that so many people are living today. No doubt that universal health insurance is useless without universal access to health care!

And both large-scale and local infrastructure projects are opening this spring, as our population continues to be vaccinated and economic restrictions are eased.

The question is not whether Labor wants to build new high schools in cities like here in Logan, or to expand public rail and bus lanes for the communities that want it; it is the way we approach those objectives without compromising necessary COVID restrictions. And thanks to the new CCC act I wrote in the Senate, we have more means to provide temporary employment, with wages of fifteen bucks an hour, to people who may have lost their jobs because of the pandemic.

The DA can't take credit for the Civilian Conservation Corps and it can't take credit for public transport. Indeed, to borrow a phrase from a famous real-life politician, "I wrote the damn bill!". And while I'm glad that Weatherboy supports these projects that Labor policies have funded in Nyman and Denver, curbing the pandemic simply had to take priority over all other matters.

Our new candidate for governor, Amanda Young, is responsible for shepherding responsive legislation to the Covid-19 Vaccine Promotion and Distribution Act that Speaker Siren authored and First Minister Truman signed.

The House Speaker already named Ms. Young as an impeachment manager for when the Articles are inevitably passed by the State House. Naturally, she is upset and has also expressed a great feeling of betrayal for mistakenly thinking she could trust the Governor with her initiative. But since her first election, she has rapidly moved up the ranks within the Labor caucus of the Utah House, and now she's running to be your governor, to clean up Salt Lake City, and to reopen the doors of the Governor's Residence!

I want the good people of Utah to know that Amanda Young is the real deal. Elect her with majorities in the State House and Senate. And never trust self-described neoliberals to protect and grow on the legacy of the New Great Society.

Thank you, Dave bless you, and Dave bless the great state of Utah! May we always stand together in honor no matter the stakes and strive for greatness!

Bozeman, Montana1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on MT Labor website

It's a beautiful morning here in the great city of Bozeman, and after a long day managing party affairs in the Beehive State, it's good to be here to join my friend, Mr. Montana himself, Governor Budd Fudrucker for breakfast this morning, to engage directly with Montanans, and to hit the campaign trail with him.

As you all know very well, Bozeman is an important, growing economic hub in the state, and that can no less be attributed to the fact that Bozeman is a gateway community for visitors to Yellowstone National Park and its abundant wildlife and thermal features. Yellowstone not only generates millions of dollars in revenue each year, both for Wyoming and Montana, but it will also be a major employment hub for applicants to the new Civilian Conservation Corps.

The CCC is employing people in urban and rural areas alike, and that certainly extends to our national parks system. And, given how vast and isolated these parks are, they fared rather unsurprisingly well last summer while most industries and public amenities took a powerful hit. But tourism is alive and well in the Mountain West, and the CCC is employing Montanans as stewards of their home territory in preparation for this summer, when individuals and families from all over the country will travel to experience all that the Rockies have to offer in Frémont.

As your senator, I championed the renewed CCC bill, which will have the effect of guarding the bounty of wilderness that extends from the Plains to the mountains. The Governor has also prioritized state funding to conduct safety inspections and enforce penalties against polluters, and he along with Labor majorities in the State House and Senate passed plans for a statewide network for emergency services, including wildfire managment.

To slightly shift gears a little, First Minister Truman and Parliament down in Denver are also poised to pass an extension of the 2020 farm bill this week. That's going to help working families in Gallatin County and throughout the state, including ranchers, and continue to rebuild our agriculture sector.

Farmland is also exempt from taxation, providing necessary relief to ranchers in farmers throughout Montana and the Commonwealth. Labor continues to be the party of the farmer, the rancher, and particularly in this state, sportsmen, hunters, and families that live in the countryside.

Time and time again, Labor leadership in Nyman and in Denver have delivered for the people of Montana. Whether you work in tourism or agriculture, public or private sector, Labor knows and represents your interests best.

Thank you, Montana. Let's reward Governor Fudrucker and deliver him an even stronger mandate in the legislature this month!

Kanab, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello, Kanab! Great to be in another stop on our campaign trail. Like our friends in the Democratic Alliance, we also want to make our case known in every county in the state. And I chose the city of Kanab in Kane County, which is situated in Utah's "Grand Circle" area, centrally located among Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, and Lake Powell.

There is just no shortage of things to do or places to visit in the Mountain West, particularly for those who love the great outdoors. And it is the isolated nature of these parks and monuments which allowed for families to vacation during the height of the pandemic last summer, camping out in the vast wilderness, fishing, hunting, and exploring, just as the people in this region of our Commonwealth know best.

Just as I was saying back in Montana this morning, this was essential to keeping our state economies in business when small local businesses were struggling to endure. And while Labor aided small and local businesses through our series of stimulus measures in Nyman, we also kept much of our park space open for campers and visitors, with appropriate distancing and health guidelines in place between employees, so that they would remain available to the people of our states.

Now tourism is coming back in full-spring this summer, and the new Civilian Conservation Corps is employing people here in Utah as we speak. They will maintain our parks in anticipation of the heightened tourism this summer, and they will also hit the ground running on projects for new schools in cities with growing populations and public transportation projects.

Now is a time for Utah to start looking ahead. I trust Amanda Young to see to it that these Labor-sponsored projects are completed. And while I do not have State Representative Young with me now as she deliberates impeachment proceedings up in Salt Lake City, I have with me two candidates for legislature who will reinforce that old Utah spirit of service and civic engagement.

Those people are Mr. Braxton Juan, a former Peace Corps volunteer who has helped oversee administrative oversight of the CCC here in Kane County who is campaigning to represent you in the State House, as well as Navy Officer Jim McAllen, who was born and raised here in Kanab and played for the Cowboys at Kanab High School, where he graduated with honors. He's running for State Senate on the very same themes as Mr. Juan - those of volunteerism, and having ample opportunities to serve one's country.

As President John F. Kennedy so famously said: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

That is the Atlasian way, and it's certainly one that's reflected in states like Utah.

Thanks for having us today, Kanab. As I did so in another forum in the state, I'll be passing the mic over to our veteran so that he can speak to you all first.

Brigham City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello, Brigham City! It's great to be in Representative Young's home city to speak with you all today.

I am pleased to announce that impeachment articles against the Governor have passed the State House. This was a tri-(quad?)partisan effort, and so will the impeachment managers of this trial, of which Representative Young has been named.

The good people of this state need a leader they can trust, and they also need a government in Salt Lake City that can most effectively deliver for the people. This is a campaign that is about more than platitudes, partisan attacks, or fifteen-second speeches scattered across the state. Because as far as I am concerned, there is only one party actively campaigning that has a record of getting results for people, not just in the states we control, but in the Commonwealth and in Nyman.

I'm proud that our party has a slate of accomplished individuals working as campaign surrogates, including Vice President OBD and First Minister Truman. I'm proud that our Commonwealth has achieved so much, and as a whole we have elected Parliaments that have been pretty darn solid! And we're a party that holds our own accountable and ensures swift delivery of justice.

And we are also a party that stands up against the ideology known as neoliberalism. The ideology that drains the poor for the material well-being of the very rich. The ideology that is for repealing commonsense regulations within our financial system and giving victims of predatory capitalism little route to getting justice for themselves. The ideology that paved the way for the 2008 economic crash.

The contrast couldn't be more clear: outdated ways of thinking that inflate economic bubbles, widen the gap between rich and poor, and compromise existing programs intended to lift people out of poverty that took decades of progressive leadership to have realized, versus the party of the people who built the social safety net, adapted our energy economy to fight climate change while supporting workers in the fossil fuel industry, and wrote the rules intended to keep the power of the very rich in check and establish an equal playing field for people who are willing to work hard and contribute to this New Great Society of ours.

Remember that it was the Labor Party that passed the Red-Green New Deal. It passed on a party-line vote in the Atlasian Senate and it was one of the proudest votes I ever cast. It was written, passed, and signed all by the Labor government in Nyman. And that law is going to help move states in the direction towards renewable energy.

No doubt, there is a great difference between saying what you want to do versus actually delivering on those promises. And while I'm sure Mr. Matheson is a good man, he wasn't there when Labor passed these big-ticket initiatives.

Let me emphasize: we passed those initiatives - not just talked about them.

My friends, I urge you to look past the rhetoric and to closely examine the material records between the two parties contesting this state. If you support green energy, revitalization of the forgotten neighborhoods which are forgotten no more, and anti-poverty initiatives, then bet on the party that has a long history of accomplishing these things.

Do not bet the protection of these things on a neoliberal candidate, regardless of which party they hail from.

Thank you, Brigham City. Let's kick the doors of the Governor's Mansion back open and show what proven, justice-oriented, moral leadership can achieve in Salt Lake City!

Park City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Good evening, Park City!

Well, I think it's fair to say that the State of Utah has been absolutely saturated with the back-and-forth campaigns all over this state. No doubt the Beehive State has been in the spotlight a lot this week. But Labor is moving this state forward, regardless of what corrupt officials and liars say.

While the Democratic Alliance likes to brand itself as the transit party, we understand that this is an effort that requires both local, state, regional, and federal support. In sum, we need consensus. The will is certainly there, and even my good friend, Weatherboy, admitted that the rail infrastructure is already there.

What he didn't mention is who laid that infrastructure, who renewed the Civilian Conservation Corps to employ the people to build on that infrastructure and pay them a living wage, who has been prioritizing transit and other infrastructure projects with health and safety in mind during these very trying times for our state and country, which we are now just emerging from as vaccinations continue to be distributed, businesses reopen, and mask mandates and restrictions are lifted as we listen to the scientists.

Speaking of which, I've said it before and I'll say it again: when you are fully vaccinated, you DO NOT have to wear a mask!

And the people of Utah realize that. Despite the governor's criminal mishandling of the pandemic, Utahns are voluntarily signing up in droves to get vaccinated as soon as humanly possible. Even though, as was recently reported, we have a new problem in our fight against COVID, and that one is a problem of demand.

Still, that communal spirit fostered in this great state, due in no small part to the state's rich tradition of civic engagement brought upon by the LDS Church, has enticed Utahns into getting vaccinated. And that number continues to grow daily, all thanks to legislation sponsored in Denver and Nyman by Speaker Siren and Representative Young, respectively.

Now is the time to look ahead, to do your part as citizens, to follow CDC guidelines - for yourself, for your family, and for your neighbor. I know the people of Utah, and I know they are doing just that.

And as we approach the cusp of summer and vaccination rates continue to improve, tourism will fill every corner of this state almost as much as these campaigns have!

We're going to keep public land in the hands of its rightful owners: we, the people.

We're going to keep the social safety net fully intact.

We're going to resist so-called "tort reform", or efforts supported by some on the right to reduce the ability of victims to seek damages or limit how much compensation they ought to receive.

And the fact of the matter is, we cannot gamble these things away with neoliberals and special interest-backed politicians.

But we know better here in Utah. We simply know better. We know the difference between right and wrong. We know the difference between fact-based evidence and so-called "alternative facts". And we know which party has, and continues to be, the best stewards of our environment.

And we know which candidate is going to continue these traditions. And if any bill undoing the state services and economic protections should ever pass that State House, you can bet your life that Amanda Young will veto those proposals at the drop of a hat.

But you're not going to let that happen. Because this month, you are going to elect Amanda Young and a supermajority in the Utah House and Senate!

And to ensure that we retain our majorities, I have two excellent candidates. Our candidate for House, Marshall Briggs, is a retired member of the Utah National Guard. We have been very fortunate to find so many retired and active duty military members to reinforce Labor's message of civic engagement and volunteerism.

Also with me is Dr. Bri Hatch, someone who's been fighting on the frontlines in our battle against COVID-19. I've gotten to know Dr. Hatch very well over the course of this campaign, and the stories of death and suffering brought on us by this pandemic are very near and dear to her. Dr. Hatch was as shocked as the rest of us to learn that our seniors had been so poorly neglected, and now she wants to fight for our seniors, for the sick, and for our citizens with disabilities, as your next state senator.

This is the team we need to ensure a healthy, safe Utah for everyone, rich in opportunities and community spirit.

But before they speak, I have someone I'd like you all to meet. Ladies and gentlemen, your next governor, Representative Amanda Young!

Morgan, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello to the fine people of Morgan! Don't worry, Amanda will be speaking to you all very soon. But before she delivers her vision for Utah, there is an elephant in the room in this campaign that, to be frank, only one side has acknowledged.

And that is the threat of neoliberalism in a state and region that's stood so firmly by the New Great Society that Labor has established.

Utah farmers, teachers, blue-collar workers, and the rest of the working class, support our safety net. And why? Because in the Great New Society, is a society that matches the LDS vision for society. A society where no man, woman, or child is left behind. A society that values charity and decency.

Now I don't have to tell you that a self-described neoliberal is running Mr. Matheson's campaign. We can see that very plainly, just by... well, his username. There is little point in asking if this is a neoliberal campaign when one of the people running it describes himself as such!

Now I would, of course, not expect the Democratic Alliance or Mr. Matheson to disavow Utah Neoliberal, but I do believe that the people of this state deserve full transparency. They deserve transparency, and they deserve to know how these candidates differ philosophically.

That makes a big difference in this election. Have we not learned from the Great Recession what the end result of neoliberalism is? Do we deny that it is the ideology that it is the impetus for widening income gaps? The ideology that compromised aid to society's most vulnerable, denied them economic justice and compensation from bad actors, and allowed big corporations and banks to write their own rules?

The people. Of Utah. Know better. No, Utah will not be fooled again. We will not embrace an ideology that makes the "forgotten people" we've heard in DA rhetoric, forgotten in the first place.

Amanda Young's learned from history, and so have we. So give her your support. Elect her with a mandate for economic justice and against self-serving ideologies of the elites, of the people our Depression-era reforms kept in check until neoliberal politicians upended them.

Don't be fooled again, Utah. And know what is at stake this election.

Thank you all. Amanda, come on up!

Missoula, Montana1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on MT Labor website

Howdy, Missoula! It's so great to be here once again with my good friend, Governor Budd Fuddrucker.

You know I gotta say, Missoula, we Fremonters are voting in three very important states that all have one thing in common. And like so many other states in the Commonwealth, each of these states are expected to experience major booms in tourism. While it is virtually guaranteed that the tourism sector is in for a major boost this summer, we need leaders in all three of these states - Montana, Utah, and Wyoming, which, as a resident of one of these states I must admit my bias toward this cycle - who will shepherd their states in the right direction of recovery.

And as the economy picks up again, we must stay on pace with that recovery in mitigating damage caused by climate change. To do that, Governor Fuddrucker and your legislature are going to continue putting our energy dollars toward renewables. We're also going to look towards safe nuclear energy. And while I realize that word 'nuclear' might sound scary to some, the fact remains that nuclear power is quite safe and risk-minimal, especially in big states like Montana.

But any plan for renewable energy without nuclear is a nonstarter, no matter how many solar panels we produce, no many how many windmills we erect. Failing this, Montana will continue to rely on fossil fuels, much of which isn't even extracted within Atlasia, much less Montana's borders!

The Red-Green New Deal is going to move 'high-energy' states like Montana in the right direction, to reduce our carbon footprint, and to conserve this land that we all love, not to mention our Native communities. We'll keep the lights on for all Montana, and extend our state-of-the-art infrastructure to small and rural communities. And we're going to do it without impeding on sacred lands or polluting our lakes, streams, and rivers.

To pivot to another issue, one which directly affects our farmers and ranchers, the First Minister recently announced the upcoming re-authorization of the Feed Frémonters Act in Parliament, so that small family farms can sell their produce that they can't sell in the private sector to the Commonwealth government at any price.

And that makes a huge difference, in states like Montana and agriculture-heavy states east of the border where farming is the way of life. I don't have to tell you that small farms were especially hit by this pandemic, but we already had a plan in place well before on the onset of the outbreak, thanks to the 2019 farm bill that has paid out more than $10 million in subsidis to small farmers in the last two years.

This means that even when the pandemic was at its worst, small and family farms survived that would otherwise not be here today, were it not for that aid.

And soon, Denver is going to spend an additional $100,000 for the relief of small farmers this year.

Folks, I am pleased to announce that Montana is once again open for business! Now, to outline his proposals for the next session, please welcome my friend, your governor, Budd Fuddrucker!
