Sorry, it's not tenable to blame Hamas for what's going on right now. Yes, October 7th was an atrocity and a crime against humanity, yes Hamas cares nothing for the people of Gaza, yes they use human shields, yes Israel had a right to respond to some of the most reprehensible terror we've seen in the region. But it's Israel that has the power to end this carnage we're witnessing in front of us. What we are witnessing in the news is squarely the responsibility of the IDF. The power differential is massive here. Israel has proven that they have neither a plan to continue this war that does not involve the continued killing of the civilians, or a plan for peace to guarantee the long term safety of all peoples.

Israel's plan is the prolonged extraction and elimination of any and all military capability that Hamas currently has.

The IDF are simply not going to stop until the Israeli hostages are returned and Hamas is incapacitated and removed.

Hamas is providing those figures; Israel has claimed no civilians were killed and the only casualties were somewhere between 20 and 40 of the Hamas militants operating out of there.  One of these sources is credible and it’s not Hamas.

My experience with Jewish people is that they are the nicest, most intelligent people on the planet. I have never had a bad experience in business with Jewish folk. In fact, I owe my business success to the trust and friendship of Jewish people.

Thanks to a career in Geology, have met a lot of people from 6 different continents, and one thing is for certain, I was impressed by their long term qualities of resourcefulness, intelligence, mercantile and friendship.

It comes as no surprise they are very successful.

Placing them next to an Islamic death cult in Hamas? Well, that is another issue.

I don't view people I do business with through an ethnicity lens. Maybe you do. What are your experiences in business with Arab folk? I had a local Saudi gentleman that acted as my notary when I ran for office a couple years ago. Nice guy, had a nice conversation, and he runs a solid business in town. That does not mean I endorse the actions of Mohamed bin Salman. In fact, it's a logical fallacy on your part to act like Jews = Israel and Israel = Jews. There are Jews that are not Israelis and there are Israelis that are not Jews. The actions of the Government of Israel are not representative of Jews worldwide.

It's not complicated.
