HP. He turned the party I love into an awful radical leftist party driven by anti-intellectualism.

(Yes, I voted for him...)

What? WHAT? It is the Republican party that keeps downgrading our educational standards and destroying our budgets. What a ridiculous statement to make.

Nothing ridiculous at all. I lived under socialism many years and my life was horrible. I will never vote for a socialist candidate.

It's a good thing Sanders isn't a real socialist, then.

Time for a friendly reminder that there's a difference between communism and socialism, and that Sanders is a Democratic socialist.

And what does the difference consist in? Socialists lie not so often as communists?
Democratic socialist? Ha! In my country "democrat"  is an abusive word pronounced "der'mocrat" (=sh**tocrat).
Under Reagan the socialist Soviet Union was pictured as the "evil empire" and now the Americans vote for a sh**tocratic socialist. What a fun! Wish you every success on the way to socialism.

I think you need to talk to someone about this. You appear to have an irrational fear of liberals based on a previous traumatic experience. Also, resorting to insults doesn't help you get your point across. I hope you learn the difference between socialists and social Democrats.

"Traumatic experience" - exactly. Right to the point. You are to have lots of such experience with your next President.

So you think Trump will win?

Good for you. Maybe you should try a Russian forum, but we're talking about American politics here.

The Soviet Union was never socialism, FYI.

Really? And why were Soviet people constantly reminded that they lived under "developed socialism"?   I myself heard it from  tv,  read about it textbooks, and answered examination questions.

The Soviet economy was under the control of a centralized authoritarian government, not "socialism."  Are you even from Russia, or did you roll on here from Breitbart to troll?

You should read a little bit about socialism, e. g.  here  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Era_of_Stagnation

That's communism, not socialism.

Я предпочитаю думать о нем, как лимонный сок и сок лайма. И может показаться кислым, но есть некоторая сладость внутри, и есть польза для вашего здоровья.

Horse radish is not sweeter than radish - that's a more correct comparison.

The point is that Bernie Sanders is a social democrat who calls himself a democratic socialist - which are both separate from each other and socialism and communism, which are also different from each other. You can keep your opinions that radical leftism is bad, but a socialist Sanders is not. Thus, his policies wouldn't have the same effect as communist (not socialist) Russia's policies. I happen to agree with most of Bernie's policies, which is why I voted FF, but just because you disagree with them doesn't make him evil.
