TBF the truth isn't that far. Considering the many people on the right really don't care about rape(defending roy moore, trump, kavanagh, clarence thomas, and sometimes even franken, who's a democrat).

Yeah, how exactly is this excessive hyperbole or absurd? 91% of Republicans and the Republican President of the United States of America (who is an alleged rapist himself) supported and had a goddamn rally for a ing rapist/pedophile. Y’all are clueless if you think the GOP actually cares about that lol

The same as they do in most other elections?

Alabama special had record turnout (even higher than some midterms), and yet  Republicans stayed home at a pretty big rate.

The fact is the race got more media attention then any senate race ever , so in this case I would sa they stayed home because they couldnt stomach voting for Roy Moore not because they just forgot to vote.

Ronald Reagan easily (The President  who ushered in the golden age of America , 1983-2001)
LOL, this is one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever seen.

1983-2001 America>1946-1963 American any day
So the era when the middle class was the strongest was inferior to the era where the 1% just got richer?
Quality of life today is objectively better than it used to be for the vast majority of America.
You genuinely believe the average middle class American was better off in the mid-twentieth century? Just because the 1% is way better off now doesn't mean everyone else isn't also better off.

Yes. Emphatically. On literally almost every measurable scale.

Each household had only one car , had smaller houses as well and tech was less accessible then

My post may have been unclear. I I completely agree that families were better off in the mid 20th century

For as long as Kavanaugh remains on the Court, the entire court must be considered illegitimate. Passing retroactive legislation setting a 1 year term length for SCOTUS members in 2021 to clear the entire bench, and then immediately repealing it and appointing 9 new members must be done if Kavanaugh is still on the court at that point if we are to restore the legitimacy of the court.

Lean D. 2020 will not be a great year for Republicans nationwide, none of their potential candidates are very good in quality, and Jones is playing this entire situation perfectly. I wouldn't be that surprised if he held this senate seat until he died.

He really believes that the GOP will die lol

The rumor I'm hearing is that Democrats may try to censure him, which is probably their best option. Congressional GOP leadership won't do anything to him.
That just looks like the opposing party setting down all free speech and is a horrible optic. You should never do that.

Hate speech isn't protected by the first amendment.

Smart move. They have a quickly aging population and cant replace their numbers fast enough. At least with immigration, they can stop an economic catastrophe.

Do you think that a resurrected Adolf Hitler could win WV-03 if he had an (R) next to his name?

Yes, and it wouldn't be close. He'd probably do better than Carol Miller since resurrected Adolf Hitler wouldn't have a vagina.

Ok how much do you think my parents make a year.

Judging by your posting history I would estimate about 60 to 70 billion dollars annually. It would be foolish to have such right-wing economic views if it were any less.

U.S. Coups™: Overthrowing Latin American Governments since 1823

Except Maduro is no longer a democratically-elected leader, so even if it was a coup (which it is clearly not, especially with the military still backing Maduro), it would be different.

1,500 international observers would disagree with you.

Maduro is the legitimate leader of Venezuela. This coup attempt by an international, Right-wing, imperialistic alliance is inexcusable; they have no power to recognize an unelected, illegitimate leader of another country. Is Maduro corrupt? Hell yes. He’s also a frequent violator of numerous human and civil rights. No question about that. But, he’s far, far from being among the world’s worst, and yet America, Canada, etc... are perfectly fine not only tolerating, but partnering with considerably worse states, such as Saudi Arabia. The reason behind all of this is obvious: oil. Venezuela has the world’s largest proven oil reserves, yet they aren’t particularly friendly with the world’s imperialistic powers (headed by the US).

Thankfully, Venezuela’s armed forces have already expressed their alliance with Maduro’s legitimate government.

It’s funny how everyone on this forum loses their collective sh** over simply alleged Russian meddling in American elections, scream about the Fascism of Trump and Bolsonaro, then at the same time champion American-Brazilian partnership in an attempted coup. You’re all just massive bootlickers.

If a Democratic president is elected in 2020 or 2024, they must face the fact that the 2022 and 2026 midterm elections may likely be a Republican wave. The president's party usually loses seats in a midterm election.

Current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy would probably be the next Speaker of the House if Republicans win control of the House in 2022 or 2026. Would a Democratic president be ready for that, or is the 2020s census going to lock Republicans out of congressional control?

Even if Harris wins in 2020, Speaker McCarthy isn't guarenteed.  The gubernatorial map and Senate map favors the Dems, in 2022

The simple truths thread is that way.

He said GOP may not take back the House because of the bad senate map

One of the worst figures in recent American history, topped only by truly terrible people like David Duke.

Dr. Duke's policy proposals from the early 90s have basically become mainstream and respectable in the Republican party today. It's just the overt anti-Semitism/white nationalism and explicit racism that are missing.

I am not anti-Semitic. I do not hate the Jewish faith. What I am against is the US coddling a state sponsor of terrorism, which is what Israel is. They need to stop killing innocent Palestinians and let Palestine be a recognized state.

Her decision to join ISIS is equivalent to an American during WW2 joining the Nazis, and that crime deserves the harshest sentences possible

Not in my opinion. The death penalty should generally be reserved for those who have themselves killed. Becoming an ISIS bride is nowhere near as bad as being, say, an abortion "doctor."

Treason is often a very good thing, so I would hesitate to ever execute anyone for "treason" alone.

Then he posted this

No, it's because when the thing you are "betraying" is evil, then treason can be an obvious and objective good. Betraying the United States is not necessarily bad.

At this point I think this thread should be renamed in  "honor" of Yellowhammer/Pickup Paulite.

Endorsed, what a troubled young man.

LOL.
I just want to take a moment and express my appreciation and gratitude for the decision to name this thread after me. It’s my sincere honour! After all, if this hellhole approved of what I say, I would really be doing something wrong.

You implied someone committing treason to join ISIS isn’t necessarily bad because of US abortion laws

Blaming the people rather than the system has to be peak neoliberalism.
The system is built and supported by the people....
It's almost as untrue in America as it is in Russia.

Lol no , Russia’s is a dictatorship, America is a democracy .

See 2000 and 2016, gerrymandering, voter suppression, the electoral college, the U.S Senate, the number of U.S House seats each state gets, etc.

No Democracy in the world is pure lmao

Parliamentary systems are less Democratic than the EC
