Obviously I don’t know for sure, but most likely it would benefit Democrats. Ironically, it might be best for Republicans if Murkowski and Collins vote NO.

So, it would be best for the nomination to get rejected, making Trump pick someone else? (Manchin isn't willing to be the 50th vote for Kavanaugh)
